I generally think Rose fans get way to harsh a reputation, we're not really all that crazy.

But the tendency to see blonde hair and automatically go "OMG ROSE!!!!!!!!!!!" doesn't really help our case.

Yeah but to be fair, the haters do pretty much the same thing every time they see blonde hair. And I can forgive it more in people who legitimately like the character than in people who haaaaate her so much that they... see her bloody everywhere? That's just weird.

I get kind of a twisted pleasure out of the fact that her image apparently haunts them at night.

Kind of? I *totally* do.

I love Rose to itty bitty pieces just on her own merits, but I love her more because apparently she is the actual literal embodiment of evil and has magical powers that cause every single bad thing that has ever happened in the Whoniverse. *snuggles Rose* You go, girl.

Hahaha pretty much me too. When I watched the show and had no concept of fandom, I liked Rose well enough and was quite fond of Doctor/Rose, but I wouldn't have named her OMG THE BEST CHARACTER EVAR or anything. But now that I know it is an offense punishable by death to like her at all, I just want to go proclaim my love for her in large sparkly glitter text all over the place.

bb, I am a huge Rose fan. I just don't want any more unnecessary angst and if she's filming alone there I fear for our beloved ship of Rose/Handy.

And yeah we always get the short end of the stick, I can't mention the fact that I love Rose and Rose/Doctor at the Something Awful forums because everyone goes: "THE ROSEFEN HAS ARRIVED, TO ARMS!"

Seriously it's only a vocal few that gives the rest of us a bad name.

It's Sturgeon's Law of Batshit. The bigger the fandom, the greater aggregate quantity of batshit becuase like 30% of every fandom is batshit.

That seems reasonable. I'm still kind of impressed that I managed to be in the HP fandom for like five years without ever directly accessing too much crazy.
