back when i had a body i had mad game with the bitches  
I spent most of today finally watching "A Very Potter Musical", which I had seen mentioned a few times on my flist. At first I was irritated by the low sound/picture quality and not that dazzled by the humour, but after the first one or two parts I was quite enthralled.



If you haven't seen it and want to kill two hours in slow tiny YouTube-sized increments over the next little while, the first part is here.

And since it would apparently be heresy for me to make three posts in a row solely about Harry Potter, I also bring you a poll about Torchwood/Doctor Who because judging by fics on Teaspoon everyone disagrees with me.

Right now I'm mostly going with the Doctor seeing Jack crying into his hypervodka and going "OHSHI—" and getting in the TARDIS tout de suite.

That is mostly what I figure too, though I couldn't figure out how to succintly state it in one option.

But I guess the authors of Teaspoon disagree with me, and it makes me lol. Not in a bad way, really, just in a... "Ha ha, Jack" sort ofway. I don't know, I find Ten's apparent complete disinterest in Jack to be hysterical.

The thing I find hilarious is that clearly the most logical ship in all the Whoniverse is Doctor/Jack, yet... I just can't bring myself to ship it, nor can the show runners, quite obviously. I think perhaps that that amount of emo manpain would cause a gravitational singularity that would swallow most of the universe.

Doctor/Jack is one of those ships that makes me giggle a bit, mostly because I just can't see the canon support for it even if I squint and tilt my head. Well, that is to say I can't see the canon support for the Doctor ever being more than vaguely conscious of Jack's existence, Jack has obviously been pining for some time. Same sort of reason I can't really get behind Martha/Doctor, either, Ten's just such a dick to both of them all the time, lol.

Welll... I must confess there was 5 minutes there where I was feeling that ship. That scene in Utopia where they're talking through the door and Jack is exposing himself to whatever testicle-shrinking radiation. That scene is *hot*.

But I just meant logical as in they're both immortal and they both spend all their time whinging about how they're immortal and no one else is and they'll both always be ~*alone*~ woe. And i just want to take them both aside and be like, "Um, you know you're not the only immortal in the universe."

I mean, I really think the only reason why Ten II deigns to talk to Jack at all in my fic is... because... Rose makes him. And he wants to have sex again.

WITHOUT THAT BIT OF ENCOURAGEMENT, HE'S BASICALLY TURNING ON HIS HEEL AND RUNNING BACK INTO THE TARDIS.

I'm so glad you've watched it! I can't get enough of it really! And yes the sound is quite annoying at times, but it's worth it in the end.

And honesly, I can't decide between Voldemort, Draco or Dumbledore.

Omg it's so great, I watched it all yesterday and I've already rewatched random parts.

I love pretty much the entire cast. Snape is great too, and I love the way Ron's always eating something.

Luckily I do have a two hours to kills so I will watch this harry potter musical you speak of. I haven't read any of the Torchwood fic yet, I was saving it for a rainy day of lulzy glee. But... idk why people are taking Torchwood so seriously. I mean isn't that kind of the appeal of Torchwood... that it's sort of horrible and cheezy? Ugh, I don't know whether to laugh or cry (out of fear and slight revulsion) at the idea of Doctor and Jack angsting together. I think I will laugh.

Did you watch it? I thouhgt it was quite fab, I keep rewatching random parts for the lolz

I am pretty sure Ten doesn't want anything more to do with Jack after COE than he did before COE. Probably less. It'd be like looking in an angsty mirror.

Is the musical good enough to keep you occupied until you see the new movie?

Also: Yay silly!poll. I only just "returned" to fichunting on Teaspoon and saw that the new trend are CoE reaction fics. D: I actually preferred fluffy Rose/Doctor LOLfics, never thought I'd say that.

I read one the other day where Rose was so determined to get back to Ten that she was like, destroying universes, so Cloen shot her with her own BFG and then killed himself. ......

Apart from the obvious lulz at the assumption that Cloen miraculously loves guns now and doesn't love Rose or himself, how amazing to have Rose turn into Davros 1.2 because she wants to get back to Ten. Ahaha, that's just amazingly bad. Nice way to completely disregard the characters and an entire season, I approve.

ILU crazy fandom, don't change I'll get so bored if you do.
