Well, I did say that I'd link you to anything new I posted on here.
In that case: I've posted something new.
It was written for the July 2005 round of the Scrivenshaft Challenge (Poetry to Prose) and, as luck would have it, the winners were announced today and lo and behold, it was on the list.

Why we loved it: One of the best Catch-22s in all of Harry Potter is the story of one Regulus A. Black. While the natural choice for that excerpt was to characterize Peter (as several authors did to great effect), you chose the younger Black, exploiting his weaknesses and drawing out the impossible situation that befalls all those who can see clearly, if only for a moment. The irony is palpable, raw, and beautiful, even as it stings. This is a must-read.
Teeheeee. That made me happy.
So, yes, Who Plays the Reaper, winner of the Mods' Choice award, is now happily hosted on UR.org, along with Silly Love Songs and Lost and Found. Read it, if you're so inclined, and give me feedback? Please? Heh.
Also, the other winners from that round are being put up, and you'll want to go check them out, as they're absolutely brilliant. If they aren't hosted on the fanfic section of UR, go to the Scrivenshaft page and read some, they're all brilliant. I'm sure the other entries are, too, but I haven't had a chance to read them yet. I particularly liked Let the Times Roll and To Murder and Create, but they're all wonderful.
Go read! Now!
