I think post-s3 Ten deals with Martha in a way similar to how he daels with Gallifrey and the War, which is "I FEEL GUILTY AS SHIT SO I AM NEVER GOING TO TALK ABOUT IT". He does admit to Donna that he was a douchebag to Martha, so I think he realizes and feels guilty and doesn't really know what to do with that. Plus I think realizing he hurt Martha and put her through hell plays into that whole NO COMPANIONZ EVER AGAIN~ thing as much as losing Donna and Rose does.

No I totally agree with you. He counts himself as having lost all three of them. Rose to the parallel world, Donna to her memory, and Martha to his own cruelty.

I think I was just blabbing on because my corner of fandom tends to neglect Martha and that makes me sad. And that's also why I should write moar Martha.
