Characters who see/know the future ALWAYS SUCK unless they're Trelawny.

Or the Doctor.

Clearly.

I'm pretty sure the Doctor's ability to see the future is about as accurate as Cleo's.

I meant he knows the future, not sees it.

who's Cleo?

Kali: voice of a nightingale_thirty2flavors on June 8th, 2009 04:14 am (UTC)
oh man is Cleo no longer relevant? D: I guess I forgot the "miss" but - MISS CLEO.

Oh. I thought you were referring to his confusing and mostly-ignored apparent ability to ~read timelines~ and recite that speech he jacked from BadWolfRose.
michelemiss_mishi on June 8th, 2009 04:15 am (UTC)
ahahahahaaaa well yes. There's that.

Plus you know, he always says things are impossible but the Rift is like "NUH UH SISTER NO WAY" -snaps in a Z formation- and makes shit happen.

And then her sister in gospel, the Time War comes out and said "You heard her chile, respect it!" And shakes her finger like NUH UH.

And then Jack comes out and they all sing Midnight Train to Georgia.

True story

I am waiting for the day the Doctor says "impossible" and Companion of the Time goes "you keep using that word"
michelemiss_mishi on June 8th, 2009 04:22 am (UTC)
INCONCEIVABLE!

That word. You keep using it. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Kali_thirty2flavors on June 8th, 2009 04:23 am (UTC)
IT WOULD BE ABSOLUTELY, TOTALLY AND IN ALL OTHER WAYS IMPOSSIBLE
michelemiss_mishi on June 8th, 2009 04:23 am (UTC)
So many things are possible, so long as you don't know they're impossible.
Kali_thirty2flavors on June 8th, 2009 04:27 am (UTC)
That sounds like it's either a line from a really inspirational movie, or a line from the Simpsons.

Which is it?
michelemiss_mishi on June 8th, 2009 04:28 am (UTC)
neither, it's from The Phantom Tollbooth, my favorite book as a child :D
