Thankyou for giving a makeover to a tired old flavour. It never made any sense if ten or nine met her before, you know? After all she made a dimension cannon to find him, and I'd think she'd have thought about him so much that she'd have long back raked over memories like this. I've always wanted to read this fic, and here it is! (Plus, I'm loving the eleven. Just because we love ten, doesn't mean we can't all love eleven too. Plus the more fanlove we give the more fanlove we get back... in the form of more episodes!... or in RTD's case, fanpleasing, ;D)

I think what we wound up getting in canon was okay because the meeting was so forgettable and he just sort of lurked in the shadows like a huge creeper, but I've never really liked fics where she meets Nine or Ten and has a meaningful conversation with them for exactly that reason. Eleven, on the other hand, is sort of free game. lol, even if in this he is wearing all black and not tweed with elbow patches. Errr. That's what I get for writing it before they even started filming s5.

I'm excited for Eleven as well, actually! I quite love Ten and I suspect he'll always be my favourite, but that's no reason I can't like the new guy as well.
