Happy Canada Day!

I'm off to go frolic around in the capital and see fireworks that are strategically placed to be half-blocked by the Parliament buildings. Fun stuff, really.

XD I don't know how I missed your icon when I did actually see this post yesterday...but...oh my. So funny!

Speaking of, two of my friends (married) are coming down (or have they arrived already? must check...) from Manitoba to visit the wife's family. She's from the US (we grew up together) and he's Canadian. And now they've got a little Canadian as well who loves to pull tissues out of boxes, litter them around and then throw beaming smiles at her shocked parents. ;)

I was on the hill too! Well more like over the river in Hull. Going to University in Ottawa was the best decision everrrr

Haha awesome! We thought about staying by the Museum but ultimately we chose some sketchy little path in the middle of nowhere overlooking the river. It was a much better view than the Hill.

I know exactly what you're talking about, I went there, it's right on the water, lots of trees, and drunk people who probably ended up drowning?

Yep, sounds about right! There were some drunk/high people beside us, actually, and during the show they shouted "THIS IS JUST LIKE HARRY POTTER" followed by "ONE NATION!!!!" and it was amazing.
