I haven't posted much about LOK, partly because the show has been really up and down. But ep 10 was EXCELLENT so
And ofc by "ep 10" I mostly mean
LIN BEIFONG, MOON OF MY LIFE

I have a decent number of issues with how this show has progressed but Lin Beifong has not been one of them, and has steadily climbed up my favourite characters list over the last few eps and naturally this cemented it, I'm so glad she at least got this ep as her crowning moment of awesome because it was quality.
I was pretty sure the "Lin loses her bending" moment was coming because even though I hadn't been explicitly spoiled I am good at intuiting spoilers, so I was kind of waiting for it the whole episode and am pleased to say they built up to it well by giving Lin lots of time to kick ass and giving her a good sacrifice, protecting not only Korra but the airbending family as well.
Speaking of airbending family,
rose_dawson and I had discussed the possibility of the Equalists attacking the island and getting their asses kicked by the airbabies so seeing that come true was fun, especially in defense of Lin. Jinora and Ikki are great, even if Meelo is deeply annoying. I found him amusing for like, one episode, but now I'm so ready for him to go. Tenzin taking out most of those Equalists was pretty great too -- I like how unprepared the Equalists are to deal with airbending, which makes sense since they would never face it. GOSH WOULDN'T IT BE USEFUL IF THE AVATAR COULD AIRBEND? HMMMMM.
Korra + co didn't have much to do in this ep besides have a bit of ship drama. Ha ha, Bolin had literally about 2 lines which is hilar. BUT NAGA SWIPING DOWN THAT EQUALIST, FUCK YEAH NAGA.
Okay that's it I guess, I mostly just wanted to stan Lin some.
