First off, thanks everyone for your nice comments on my last post. Things are getting better, ish. My mom sounds more like herself although I suspect she's mostly been trying not to think about it, which is the same tactic I've been using.

Anyway The Office hasn't been a good show in ages and this season sounds particularly awful but IDC, Catherine Tate! On my television! Huzzah!

I just want to live in a world where David Tennant, Billie Piper, Catherine Tate, and Freema Agyeman are always doing thing on my tv screen. Is that so much to ask?

It's basically a crime that Dwight probably won't make a Doctor Who joke, because it would be absolutely in character but would require the average American viewer to get the joke which is unlikely.

Also, I love that the guy who plays Inspector Spacetime is familiar enough with Doctor Who that he would recognize Freema.

I can't believe I'll actually WATCH The Office OMG the things I do for you people!!!

I used to love The Office so this would've excited me a lot more several years ago and admittedly part of me is still OMG CATHERINE TATE ON THE OFFICE, and the crossing of the streams of the TV shows is very strange... but I wish she'd guested a few years ago when The Office was still great, or that she was guesting on P&R or Community instead. OH WELL. I'm impressed that the Office producers managed to cast one of literally about four people who would guarantee me as a viewer. HOW DID THEY DO THAT

ikr? Last season I was all OKAY MICHAEL'S LAST EPISODE WILL BE THE LAST EPISODE I WATCH REALLY FOR REAL, and then NBC was all "cameo by Catherine Tate!" and I was like "well FINE I'll watch until the end of the season BUT THEN I'M DONE" and now NBC is all "multi-episode arc with Catherine Tate!" It's ridiculous because there's really very few actors they could cast who would guarantee my viewership, but they managed it. Even though she's British and a comparative unknown over here!
