drive-by TCI appreciation  
After the new special today (which I still haven't seen yet), Space is airing a bunch of old specials.

So I just watched Christmas Invasion.





D'AWWWWWWWW.

EVERYONE IS SO ADORABLE AND SUCH A BB AND I LOVE EVERYONE IN THIS BAR.

Runaway Bride is up next and I almost want to turn off the TV because TCI is so perfect and adorbs. But I love TRB so I probably won't. And haha in the time it took me to type this, TCI's credits rolled and went straight into TRB so HELLO DONNA.

TCI! <333. Lol on BBCA after the new special they had one of those "Best of" things with commentary that was "Best of the Christmas Specials", so they actually talked about the RTD era--but somehow managed not to mention Rose at all, not even in TRB...

LOL I heard that about the BBCA things. Space has just been airing s6 all day, and then the new Christmas special, but now I'm watching Runaway Bride and am quite pleased, especially because they haven't edited these episode down or anything.

TRB is probably my favorite Christmas special. <3 <3

I haven't watched this years yet though because Downton Abbey was flawless and I just could not find it in myself to find enough fucks to give to watch the Doctor Who special.

ME TOO. AND THEN TCI. So it was a nice match.

Unfortunately afterwards I watched this year's. Heads up, I found the DW special boring as all fuck. It wasn't offensive, it was just criminally boring and predictable.

Well my expectations were already super low, so... Was this special free of annoying Moffat-isms?

Maybe I'll watch it tomorrow. My sister is getting off work in a hour and a bit and she wants to watch Downton with me since she was working while I watched it earlier, so I'll probably watch Downton again tonight instead of Doctor Who. I REGRET NOTHING.

Mostly, except some catchphrases that had me yell "SHUT THE FUCK UP ELEVEN" by the end of the episode lollllllll.

IDK it was okay I guess but I was just seriously so bored.

And I watched TCI yesterday! ISN'T IT PERFECT OMG? Everything is precious and wonderful. :D :D That's the first time I've watched TCI on Christmas Day, as well.

TRB is also pretty perfect of course!

TCI was perfect and stunning and flawless and everyone was so ickle and adorable. And then I watched TRB immediately afterwards and it was hilarious to see Ten go from bb "it's gonna be fantastic!" Ten to spiderbaby genocide Ten. D'awwwwww.

Rewatching Ten always makes me feel very protective of Ten, ngl. FANDOM IS MEAN AND YOU ARE ADORABLE, TEN.
