THAT WAS MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT THE ENTIRE EPISODE. I literally laughed out loud.

I liked this episode. It's my favorite of series 6 for sure, but I don't know how much that is say ing. I did really like the idea of a personified Tardis, and I loved the idea that the the Doctor and the Tardis kind of stole each other. It was sweet.

ME TOO LOL. Good taste, TARDIS. And it cracked me up a little that she didn't know either of the companions, like she just can't be bothered to learn their names anymore.

Yes! It was really nice to see him um... have emotions. And Matt Smith was good! He can do it! Just give him the material!

Also, even if it has been a season and a half, ye olde coral consoleroom still = the real TARDIS in my head. This! The saddest part of this episode for me was when House said he was going to delete that room first... I refuse to believe the TARDIS won't recreate it after she rebuilds all the bedrooms. (LOL bunkbeds.)

Also loved the TARDIS believing her name is 'sexy'. XD

I approve. I know you've been reading reaction posts but this episode is probably better if you're not spoiled for every little thing (I guess you already know who Idris is, but then tbh you find that out in the first 2 minutes anyway).

OMG Wasn't it FABULOUS? The Doctor and his TARDIS were just so perfect. I loved how they sort of had this whole sniping back and forth thing going on too. Like the whole thing with the sign on the door saying Pull and him always pushing. I laughed at that because I'm certain I've seen people ranting about that within fandom.

BWAH Bunkbeds! That was rather hysterical! Also, note he didn't answer Rory about whether he has a bedroom? Interesting.

Did you watch the Confidential? If not you should - there are montages of the Doctor and the TARDIS in all configurations - rather epic and awesome. Also, Neil Gaiman is adorable. (And Arthur Durvall wears a horrifically awful shirt).

Yeah I'm with you, I thought it was Room a Requirementy too - although maybe the Doctor can just request things? It seems the TARDIS didn't care much about his companions at this point (Always picking up strays LOLOL) so maybe she gave him more control of their room because she didn't care?

i liked it muchly, it gave me many feelings, rory's dead once or twice, awesome. but god i hate the new tardis so much, i just miss my coral friend so much.

I like the new TARDIS, it's very pretty, but I LOVE YOU OLD TARDIS, NEVER LEAVE ME. It is the "real" TARDIS in my mind and probably always will be.

I'm honestly not his biggest fan novel-wise (only gotten through 2.5, and one of those was co-written), but I have always a) liked his comic book series Sandman, and b) his episode of Babylon 5 was my favorite of that season and in my top ten overall. So maybe he just does better outside of novels? IDK.

I WAS SO SURPRISED AT THIS YOU HAVE NO IDEA. I couldn't even watch it last night because I was afraid it might be terrible, but it was GREAT.

Good Omens and this episode are the only things I've read/seen of Gaiman's that I like, and that's not for lack of trying.

also I'm watching DW Confidential and what the hell is that floppy floral shirt Arthur Darvill is wearing midway through???

LOL I don't watch the Confidentials because I don't want Moffat to pop in and ruin everything, but I've seen gifs, and IDEK, he is a huge hipster.

I thought this Confidential was pretty great. Moffat had a few gross moments, but they're minimal and you can fastforward through them. Most of it is Gaiman being awesome, and everyone else being awesome.

Indeed. Although I was amused that in the Confidential, people were complaining about how hard the floor grating was to keep falling on. Well, Arthur was, anyway. Karen was "taking it like a man". *snort*

OTP! Doctor/TARDIS is really the only ship worthy of being "Doctor/someone" rather than a specific regeneration.
