I. On Friday I hung out with my friend. We decided to rent Back to the Future because I have somehow gone 21 years without ever seeing that film. AND THEN... the video store didn't have it. Wtf? This is actually like the third time this has happened to me. Anyway, then we tried to rent Jurassic Park, but they didn't have the first one. And then we found... 100 Million BC. The basic plot? Back in WWII, the US Navy developed a method of time travel and sent a test team back to the ~age of dinosaurs~ (because they were worried that sending them any earlier would risk Butterfly Effect stuff -- which leaves you to wonder why they carried on with the time travel project). Predictably, the team got stuck there, and now, 60 years later, a rescue team is being SENT BACK IN TIME! And they accidentally bring a dinosaur back with them to the future. So really, it kind of combined both Jurassic Park and Back to the Future. Go us.

Words can't do justice to how amazing this movie was. Everything was terrible. The special effects, the writing, the acting, the sets, the production values, the concept -- it was so bad that the video was not even centered on the tv screen. Here is a YouTube video that has most of the best moments, though the guys narrating are kind of unfunny:

There were even special features on this DVD. IDEK someone paid thousands of dollars to make this, I can't fathom it.

II. On a totally different note, a poll!
