IKR?! "not sure if want" basically sums it up for me too. I liked them in s1 but it's like it's gradually gotten worse but I also recognize that they're probably endgame so a part of me has accepted it but at the same time I'm like "dude, Ben". Also, he says he is okay with her job, and that is great if he is, but I suspect he is not. Because it is episode 1. So I am sure there are going to be lots of moments of BEN FUUUUUUUUUU

Ben/Hannah definitely DNW. I agree with you 100%. Being marginally better than those two douchenozzles is really not much of an achievement, Ben.

I love vulnerable!Belle like we got at the end. Although I don't know if I buy that Ben's not jealous of her professional duties - he was certainly very jealous of her boyfriends in seasons past. Time will tell I guess!

I really do miss Bambi, she was an awesome character. I was miffed when they took her off the show. They married her off with Bryon and obviously they moved away or something. I would have loved to see the B/B married storyline then Hannah/Ben's SRS RELATIONSHIP COMMITMENT.

Yeah, Hannah/Ben, I don't care for it. The ship sunk for me way back in s2.

As of 5 days ago I have officially lost my SDOACG virginity and I can read posts like these and GET it. I've just spent the past week having a crash course in Hannah and Belle and OMG THIS SHOW! How come no body warned me I would LOVE it this much? I really wasn't expecting to like it but it's so good!

I shall be watching it faithfully every Tuesday from now on. ALSO Billie Piper is SO BEAUTIFUL IT'S A CRIME! Seriously. Her hair. I covet her hair, it always looks so good (with the exception of most of S3 where she was channelling Rose and her roots were showing, WTF was up with that?) Um yeah, I may have developed a teeny tiny girl crush this week... Is that wrong?

I liked her hair in s3! There were some seriously questionable hair and makeup choices in s2 -- I can forgive the wardrobe because she was pregnant, but sometimes I loled at her hair, especially that last scene with Alex, where she had like, 80s curls, wtf. I think in s3 the root-showing look or ~ombre~ hair or whatever was in, though.

Also lol @ "teeny girl crush", honestly after watching Secret Diary my girl crush can no longer be described as "teeny".

Yeah exactly. I expected it to be okay, not this FANTASIC show that it is. Billie brings Hannah/Belle to life in such a way that she just shines on the screen. The characters are both so interesting and I love the whole idea of the double life and how can she attempt to be "normal" when she does something that so many people view as not. I also really love the aspect of her mentoring Bambi (reluctantly) at first.

I can't see you gif!!! TRAGEDY! But yes, she's ridiculously beautiful. Even when they put her in the most hilarious outfits. Sometimes the costumes make me LOL and yet still she looks amazing.

Oh, I didn't not like her hair in S3 I just thought it was a bit less glam than in the other series'. It still worked. And she's still beyond gorgeous. AND LOL yes some of the hair and makeup is so laughable, but I think it fits for what Belle does - she has to be pretty out there sometimes. LMAO at the 80's hair though OMG it's so true! I was wondering where her pregnancy fit into things and how that worked. You know, I will now have to go back and watch S2 again just so I can see if I can spot all the coverups... They must have used a body double for the nude scenes or something. Oh, that means I get to Oogle Callum Blue again (What? He's hot. He's got pretty eyes) I think I like this plan....

I suspect that the longer I watch this show, the more my girl crush will grow. I've liked her since DW of course but my love for DT was always a bit greater. I'm not sure that's true anymore... OMG SD WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME????

Yeah it's a well-done show; it's very pretty in terms of shots and everything, and the way they have her speak to the camera is executed so well too. It's nice to see her get a chance to be funny, since Rose was never the funny one on Doctor Who.

Well the costuming in s2 made me laugh because it was pretty obviously chosen because she was pregnant; if you rewatch s2 and look for it you'll notice Belle and Hannah develop a passion for really loose, baggy, shapeless clothes, and a couple times it's super obvious she's pregnant. There's a shot of her and Bambi walking into a hotel (the one where she dresses as Rapunzel?) and they turn and her belly is showing lololol it's ridiculous. There was also a dramatic decrease in the full-body nude scenes, because they kept having to use a double.

Yeah same, I was very fond of her because of her role as Rose but Rose is not as vavoom as Belle/Hannah, lol.
