So I was talking to firstofoct on MSN and I mentioned that I have the Doctor Who s4 boxset sitting beside me and it struck me suddenly how hilarious Ten's face is in that shot. So I tell her this, and go to Google to find her a picture.



Anyway, we laugh about the posing and stuff for a second and then I realize... what the hell, he is not wearing the blue suit (or a white shirt) on my DVD. But otherwise, as far as I can tell, it is the exact same photo, including the hilarious posing and the weird hand positioning and comical facial expression. EVEN THE WRINKLES ON THE SUIT ARE THE SAME.

She is correct; they are in fact all blue on Google:



It is not a regional DVD thing either, because Amazon.ca, which sells the region I have, uses the blue photo. I took a photo to prove I am not crazy:

After a few minutes of searching, Hannah confirms through the magic of Ebay that someone else owns this one. In the opposite region, apparently, judging by the "12" circle.



But I still do not understand -- are there two covers? Why? Which goes where? DID THEY LITERALLY PHOTOSHOP ONE SUIT TO LOOK LIKE THE OTHER? If so, which one is ~real~? Hannah thinks the stripes look wrong on the brown suit but looking at it in real life and not in a low-def picture I think it looks fine. And if they have someone that handy with photoshop on staff why do all their promos look like they were made in MS Paint????

SO MANY QUESTIONS. Does anyone else own this box set? What colour suit is he wearing? INQUIRING MINDS.
