I always had to move on the first and it was always really hot.

It's not just Montreal, plus it's Quebec anti-Canadian/anglo stance. Yes I am fully aware of how paranoid I sound, but I'm an anglo. In Quebec. I'm allowed, right? At any rate, it used to be May 1st, but they moved it to July 1st, which is fitting for a moving day (warm weather, holiday, leases end on June 30th) but rather insulting.

I think there are still some May leases left...? W/E I also tried to move on like June 28.

Also last Canada Day in Montreal they ran out of flags and then the fireworks didn't go off so w/e I do not even care.

Yeah, a lot of people are all "screw this" and aim to move in June or August.

Haha, the flag was an accounting error, but I bet the fireworks were due to everyone still suffering from St. Jean :D
