i will eventually stop posting about this
With respect to Dana Scully, whom I am sure is awesome, I must represent for the show/character I actually watch, so...

Come on, Who fandom! Donna's awesome is the only universally acknowledged truth among us.

Plus you know you want to contribute to the ~anti-man~ campaign.

I remember of the few episodes I've seen what really made me snap was like, the one with the glasses was pining over Penny in typical Nice Guy fashion and it was just eye-roll-worthy and then I saw an episode where they were actually dating and they did not appear to have anything in common and Sheldon seemed to focus his time on trying to prove what a moron Penny was.

I think my hate-on for this show develops more the more I talk about it.

Leonard and Penny don't really have anything in common at all. I stopped watching a few episodes into that season where they started dating so IDK what they did with their time, but mostly it was shenanigans like "Penny has a lot of friends over to watch the Superbowl and they are all jocky fratboy types and Leonard is uncomfortable because he is a nerd!!!" and stuff.

And yeah Sheldon sort of makes it his mission to make everyone look like a moron. To be fair, Penny doesn't really help. She got a bit better (...I think...) as the show went on, but it used to drive me crazy that she seemed incapable of following what Sheldon was saying when he happened to use long words. Not the science/math/etc references, fair enough, I don't know half of them, but the times he's just long-winded and she goes "...what?" always made me facepalm.

*coughs* It, um, it helps if you imagine them as Rose and the Doctor.

Not that I've done that.
