collab fic with goldy_dollar: the long way home (1/4ish)  
Title: The Long Way Home (1/4ish)

Spoilers: 2009 Specials, S5 casting.
Rating: PG
Pairings: Ten II/Rose, Ten/Rose, Eleven/Rose, Eleven/River. Yes, really.
Summary: After losing the Doctor, Rose sets off to find him again.
Excerpt: One certainly didn’t go banging down the walls between parallel worlds for a quick visit to the nearest Tesco.

A/N: I think it is safe to say that we are both committed to Ten II and Rose having their happily ever after despite what the pairing information might indicate, so without giving too much away, this fic is a little bit more complicated than your usual "Ten II dies of metacrisis so Rose can be reunited with the Time Lord Doctor" plot.

The Doctor slammed the door shut behind him and pressed his sonic screwdriver to the lock, using the back of his free hand to wipe an irritating trickle of sweat from his forehead.

Even more shocking is that once upon a time I wrote like 200-300 words that could probably be classified as Ten/River. I mean, they were squashed into a fic that was Ten/Rose overall, but lol.

IT'S LIKE I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO YOU ARE ANYMORE.

I have totally been jonesing for DW fic. I went on Teaspoon, which was a mistake, because everything is either strange Time Lord penis-with-barbs sex or Rose hating on Handy, which is all well and lulzy but only for a while. At this point I am like HELP ME OBI-WAN KALI, YOU'RE MY ONLY HOPE.

Are you looking for anything in particular? Teaspoon is always a mistake, rofl.

I have a random assortment of Doctor Who recs here, with a reasonably wide variety of pairings (and Doctors, surprisingly). At the time I was trying to be very fair and not just rec a bazillion Ten/Rose things.

Um, for a while I tried to remember to add fics on lj to my memories but it didn't really work so here is an assortment whose quality I can't really vouch for anymore since a bunch of them are probably from when I first started reading fic. Most if not all of that will be Ten/Rose.

And there's my never-used Delicious which probably has lots of overlap with atasteof but w/e.

I'm not sure I want to read this because I hate HATE fics where Ten2 dies but then again you and Frances pulled a number on us with your last one so I might give this a chance.

Up to you! I will say that I think this one is actually less soul-destroying than Blood and Anger and Revenge was, overall, so make of that what you will, lol.

lol, Rose just doesn't do crazy grief the same way the Doctor does crazy grief.
