dakota fanning was on oprah today with the cast of the secret life of bees. and all i gotsta say is: there has never been a doubt in my mind that dakota would blossom into such a classy, beautiful young lady. it was only a matter of time. can't wait until she's of legal age. ;) heh. no but really, i can't wait until she's in her 20s. she's gonna be gorgeous.

I have an interview tomorrow for a place I think I'd give an arm to work at and with all that said and done, I feel like the tide is a-shifting and maybe this month will look the fuck up for a change. I am 21 in count it- 29 days y'all! Also, I am going blonde... on Monday.

Today's xkcd
I don't usually mention it, but xkcd is the only webcomic I read. I did follow Sinfest for a while, but stopped. It's funny it seems almost everyone I know follows xkcd and my oldest friend, relsqui (who it was wonderful to be around tonight), is friends with the author.
Anyhow when I saw today's comic my first response was what about the first author mentioned in the scroll over text. Now seeing it again I have to add in Watership Down as well. It is the only great book I can think of with a glossary at the end, and I really do believe that the language adds to the book. Now I must add that I have not read it in over a decade, but I remember really liking it.
