Gatsbys American Dream

I have a feeling people like Jen Camp will enjoy them... maybe.

Seattle band... many of their songs contain reference to famous books and suchlike. Their new album, And the Volcano, focuses on Pompeii's story. A city destroyed by a volcano and is rebuilt only to be destroyed in like 50 years.

They say they're alternative/emo/punk, but it's really more of a typically indie rock band meets old emocore band with plenty of guitar riff-driven verses to maintain that emocore title.

Intelligent lyrics. I expected more variety of emotions from the vocals though.

Much better than that violin folk-rock with the HORRIBLE singer...

not that I don't like violin folk-rock, just the horrible singer sort of ruined it.
