Ok so it's finally happened - I'm ill! Mr Germs saw there chance and were like, "hey, she's exhausted after all the essays and the exam - LET'S GO BOYS!"
So yes, I'm ill, at first I thought it was just a sore throat but it's developed into an actual cold, fuzzy head and sniffles and all.
BUT
WHO THE HELL CARES - IT'S NEARLY CHRISTMAS!
Going home on Friday - well excited. Can't wait!
Exam went fairly average, hope I've passed. it didn't feel like a complete disaster but now that I think about it, there was a question that I maybe should have done instead of another one in order to give my answers a bit of variety!
NEVER MIND!

So YAY! Yesterday was Edinburgh Uni's Female voice choir's debut performance! I think it went pretty well actually and it was GREAT fun. My parent and grandparents came to watch. It was lovely to have them around, we had lunch together, my dad fixed all the broken lights in the flat and we all had a good laugh. So aye, eveyone did really well and I think we sounded quite good in the end! I'm in the middle of rearranging one of the pieces for classical guitar! Whaha. I haven't done anything musical like that for a while so it'll be good to get those muscles working again.
I am going to go to the library later though, coz I need to revise! For some reason I like going to the library in the dark. WEIRD.
In other news, I watched Small Island on the BBC last night. Did anyone else see it? I thought it was BEAUTIFUL! It think it's one of the best pieces of TV drama i've seen, tis definately on a par with North and South. Ruth Wilson was in it, I love her. I think the second part is on next Sunday so if you like period drama (in this cas WW2) get your asses on Iplayer and watch! I think there will be tears next week.
Alos, there's Christmas dressage on the week that I go back home to Inverness. So YAY. I'm so excited from some reason. I just want to plait Freddy up, put tinsel on him and generally play ponies! Haha. So fun times.
Now to lunch, then library!

Hello lovely lj world! I feel I've been neglecting you!
These past few weeks have been so busy but I've finally managed to get all my course-work in. So huzzah!
Yesterday was really fun! Mary, Katie, Sammy and I went ice skating in Princes Street. It was great coz it was a lovely day and all wintery and we were outside. Katie hadn't really been skating before and she was pretty good!
After skating, Ali joined us and Katie went to find Colin. So the four of us went to Starbucks and then wandered back to the flat. TEdinburgh is so pretty just now. The lights from the German market, the ferris wheel and the trees lit up on the side of the castle make it look so Christmassy!
So yes, we went and got wine and then ordered a curry. We Omegle-baited for a while and then started playing cards. Which was REALLY fun and got pretty competitive. The Caroline arrived from Inverness and joined in. We played Fastest Finger/whatever Ali called it, Spoons, Cheat, and Scabby Queen - I hadto do the scabbing so it really wasn't Scabby Queen, it was like, Slightly red back of hand Queen.
So yay!
CHOIR CONCERT ON SUNDAY! Wohoo. Pretty excited. Grandparents and parents are coming I think. Should be good! We're doing some carol singing at some point too! Yays!

Hello!
Yes, I'm still around. I'm very sorry for being such a lj-failer!
I'm in the midst of the end of term essay rush. Got to finish a long one on Suentonius and Tacitus and their accounts of the Julio-Claudian Emperors before moving onto a source analysis type thing on the goings on in Byzantium during the First Crusade. EXCELLENT.
Got a lovely view of a pretty spectacual fireworks display that was going on at the castle this evening. It was "switching on Christmas lights day" so yay. Might have a sneaky look down town tomorrow as I expect the Christmas market should be open. We're also going to go and see Paranormal Activity I think. Yay.
That's all i'm going to say at the mo coz verything else has gone from my mind haa.
Going to check and see if there's anything worth watching on IPlayer.

Oh guys!
I'm missing this big, ridiculous, donkey horse so much right now.
Hopefully I'll be able to see him soon though.
Damn you city and your cityness. I'm slightly on edge at the moment, don't know why but I think some contributing factors are:
- not sleeping well
- not eating healthily (this is worrying me and it's making me feel rubbish about myself.)
- Loooots of work, my essay did a weird formatting thing today and I only noticed it after I printed it out - I nearly cut a bitch. Honestly, things nearly got thrown.
- I need countrysiiiiiiddddee! I feel trapped. Not that I don't love Burgh, but you know, it's like a labyrinth and I'm smack bang in the centre!
On the up side, Doctor Who was good - really scary. However, I have to say that I was a teeny bit more excited about the trailer for the Christmas one than I should have been. Because of Youknowwho being in it with his blonde hair. Yay.
I'm reading William Fox Pitt's autobiography at night times and it's nice because it's taking me away to farms and fields, big houses and, of course, horses.
Also, me and twin saw the cutest puppy ever today.
Yay!

There was a stunning episode of Merlin tonight. It was just beautiful, very cinegraphic - is that a word? Anyway, also, the horses in that programme are so beautiful they make me want to cry!

Yo guys, I actually managed to get most of my essay done! Wohoo! Cleaned the flat a bit too, I feel accomplished.
Had a nive evening, KMils came round and we watched the X Factor.
MERLIN WAS AMAZING! MY FAV EPPY SO FAR THIS SERIES.
Oh my goodness, I smile all the way through that programme! Loved that there were some Arthur and Gwen scenes this week. I ADORE the way King Giles was floating round after Catrina. Arthur was awesome and noble this eppy and Merlin was adorable as usual. I LOVED MANHUG FAIL!

GUYS!
I'm still here. Sorry for being so rubbish, uni is so hectic at the moment!
Just so everyone knows, if you want to see a good film that will cheer you up, go and see UP it's AMAZING. I was in tears from laughing at one point! GO SEE.
So I have an essay for Monday. I've only done 2 lines of it or so! Nooooo! So my weekend is going to be ESSAY, MERLIN, X FACTOR, ESSAY. At least I've got things to look forward too! sigh!

Update!
Ok! So i decided to take this oppertunity to do an update because other wise I won't get to do one for ages.
Oh my God, I have been so ridiculously busy!
Last Thursday I went over to Albi's flat and met his flatmates. We had pizza, sweeties and watched Labrinyth. (Dance magic dance.) Everyone was really friendly and nice. Twas a good night.
On Friday, el parentos arrived. Sammy and I were leaving for our lecture and we caught them arriving in the car! We weren't expecting them till later but they'd obviously miscalculated the time it would take them to get into Edinburgh, So we said HiBye and went to our lecture and then met them afterwards. We had lunch and daudled around and then went out for an Indian meal in the evening. It was my parents' 30th wedding anniversary! 30 years! imagine that!
So on Saturday and Sunday we continued to hang out/ eat/ drink with the parents and then my dad headed home because he had work. My mum however stayed on coz she's on holiday!
So we've had the mither around for the past few days and it's been lovely. Actually, I'm pretty glad she's been here because I've had so much work to do (and still do) and she's been doing lots of cooking and general motherly stuff! it's great haha.
I did a talk on Tuesday and I'm so glad it's overrrr. It was about the rise of Italian towns in the Medieval ages. Gaaah!
Anyways I've still got American history to do - a journal entry and tutorial work for Friday. I'm gonna have to finish it tomorrow evening coz there's not way I'm getting my journal written tonight. Might move onto tutorial work tonight and leave the journal for tomorrow. I can't really concentrate on writing now.
Also, I HAVE AN ESSAY TO WRITE FOR A WEEK ON MONDAY! WHEN I'M I GOING TO DO THAT! WHEN?? I'VE GOT ENOUGHT WEEKLY WORK TO BE DOING AND NOW THIS! Hello no life!
Gah time is moving so fast!
But woop, I suppose. Coz you've got to look on the bright side....although, there isn't really one. Oh wait yes there is. My mum bought CAKE for later.
She's super skilled!

Well, I suppose this is a good time to do a wee update!
I've had a great weekend at home!
Friday was nice and relaxing. Arrived in Inverness at about 7ish and went home and had a nice curry!
Saturday was great. Went out to see the horses. I went for a walk with the RDA, lunched with Caroline, Sammy and Stewart and then went to see Freddy. I gave him a nice brush and then went for a walk with Janie and Gwen. I was going to school him but I thought - "If you're a pain, that would be rubbish, I just want to have a nice relaxing time with you." Haha. So that's what we did and it was great. Came home and watched Merlin (with I will talk about but under a cut.) NO MERLIN NEXT WEEK! IT'S A TRAVESTY! Damn you Beeb and your snooker - I think that's what it is! Meh! Watched a bit of Strictly and then the X factor - which was really surreal last night I thought. Some weird stuff going on. LOL at Devil Twins. Then it was was time to watch Angel and Demons en famille. I was actually quite impresses, it was a lot more fast paced than I thought it would be!
Today! Well firstly I was sad to hear about Stephen Gately. He always seemed like a nice chap, and so young. :(
Other than that, the family went out for lunch and then the girls (me, my mum and Sammy) went and did some shopping. I got a coat, some jeans and a top! So yay! I have clothes now!
Now onto some Merlin talk - it was a knock out!

I'm at home folkie folks! It's nice to be back!
Had a lovely dinner with el parentos and am now just pottering about. A wee while ago we all sat down to watch Supernatural together - I really like the eppy, even though I feel it was a kinda filler ep. The guest star did a surprisingly good job! Thumbs up to her!
It's niceseeing the kitties - Prince has a bit of a sore eye.
