Drove a bit of the way up as well as a bunch around the town. On the day of driving up I was accosted by stares and double-takes. Many many more than usual. But I like that tank top! =( Rest of the time I've been deserving looks. Am in Colorful day-glo mood. Yesterday wore neon green mesh top with black tank top, bright yellow vinyl go go hat (thanks ren!) and day-glo zomg brightness orange jacket (thanks Chelsey!). I stood out a bit. Have been to Pier 39 where shopping was had. (Everything was amazingly cheap. Cheap like $13 for a dress. Very nice.) Chinatown was fun. My beleif in the amazingness of Asians is constantly reaffirmed. Was buying tradtional Chinese dresses (chipiao? can't remember.) and one had loose thread. Lady fixed it on the spot. Then, one was a bit big and to Mom I said, "We can just have it taken in at the laundry place by the house, right?" when little Chinese lady says, "I'll do it now. Eight dollars. Come back in 15 minutes." When I did, it fit perfectly. She didn't measure it. So now I have pretty things and pretty dresses. Where to wear them? I need to start going to nice places. I mean, I could wear the shinies to my typical dinner places (Del Taco) but it might be nicer to go somewhere pretty. mmm, pretties. Today went to Haight and Ashbury's and a garden place nearby. Latter was very pretty; forst was very fun. Enjoyable! Yesternight I made friends with a snail. I'll say more later, when have thigns to say.
