Wanted to get this posted before the finale tomorrow.

So, Claire and HRG are pretty much my favorite characters on Heroes. The relationship between them has evolved incredibly over the season, and has made for - at least to me - one of the most interesting and sometimes heartbreaking storylines of the show. I love that HRG is such a layered character, and the fact that he's been risking everything for almost 16 years to protect his daughter, who is, ironically, indestructable. And I love Claire because... well, who doesn't love Claire?

This mix takes place over the entire course of the season up to about 1x18. It was created before the reunion in 1x21, which is why it ends with HRG sending Claire away at the end of 1x17. Enjoy. :)

This mix is really mostly speculated angst and such, revolving, for the most part, around how Peter and Claire deal with their abilities individually and together, and also Peter's dream from "Fallout," because I'm much too in love with analyzing that scene and (what I take to be) it's symbolism. I had a hard time finding songs that fit Claire's point of view, so the majority involve the relationship between them from Peter's point of view. Anyhow, enough rambling. Enjoy the mix.

FanMix- You're Gonna Make Me Lonely- GA -Addison/Derek/Meredith [EP]

Oy. This mix is just one more bit of proof that this show is eating my brain. But, really, who doesn't love a group of hormonal, angsty, dysfunctional, pretty doctors who can't keep their scrubs on? Exactly. Anyway, this mix is focused on the good Doctors Shepard and the lovely Dr. Grey. The story beings when Derek and Meredith meet at a bar and wake up the next morning on the floor of Meredith's living room. Nekkid. With sex hair. Yeah. Where was I? Oh, right, so then Meredith pretty much tells him to grab his pants and go, and that there's no need to pretend they care. She then leaves to start her new internship at... you guessed it, the hospital where McDreamy just happens to be a brain surgeon. How's that for a kicker? McDreamy then pursues Meredith for several episodes until she finally gives in to his McDreaminess and they resume doing the sex. Until the end of the season, when McDreamy's McWife shows up. McWife turns out to be a gorgeous, brilliant doctor who's not quite done with McDreamy. McDreamy explains what the deal with McWife is -- he walked in on her with his best friend -- and tells Meredith that she was like coming up for fresh air, that she saved him. Meredith says it's not enough. Enter angst. Meredith and McDreamy face countless obstacles, including McWife, who won't seem to go away. Finally, McWife serves McDreamy with divorce papers, which McDreamy can't bring himself to sign. McDreamy tries to have his cake and eat it too, but ultimately fails. Meredith tells him to choose, that the viewers are going to go crazy soon if he doesn't (er, what?), and he does. McDreamy and McWife seek counseling and McDreamy can't quite seem to move on. McWife tells him she needs to know if there's even a reason for her to stay, and McDreamy never really gives an answer. McWife proposes sex, and McDreamy ditches her to spend Thanksgiving day with Meredith at the hospital. The night ends with a tearful goodbye between Meredith and McDreamy, and McDreamy goes home to kiss McWife in the rain. Enter mix.

I would have liked to add more songs to this, but seeing as how I'm impatient and pretty much my entire music collection on my computer was wiped out, this is all I've got. I hope you'll enjoy it anyway.
