So I got back from Maine like almost 2 weeks ago.. and it was Beautiful! (I have some pics posted on facebook and myspace, and by some, i mean many.) I actually had a good time, though i have to admit i was pretty mad at my dad for the first day or two. First off, i didn't originally give the trip a chance because when i saw that it was a bunch of retired old people on the boat, all i could think was, what the heck am i gonna do?!
Well what i did end up doing was a good amount of reading. I read and finished Into the Wild, and What was she thinking? : A note on a scandal. Both books were pretty good, and I tried to continue Three Cups of Tea, but it just wasn't working out. So now I'm currently reading Slam, by Nick Hornby. Love Nick Hornby.
anyways, back to the trip. Trip was fun thanx to the young crew members. They made it fun and gave me someone to talk to for 7 days, so it was straight.
and then after i got back from maine, it was back to work. Then Sunday, i went up to Oreland, PA and hung out with Adam and saw a good amount of kids from when i went to chestnut hill. It was a nice visit, and i'm glad i got to see everyone.
And this week.. i work, evan comes to visit from ohio, and the semester starts back up. I'm still waiting for the board of education to approve me to start subbing, but i'm on the next meetings agenda, so that should be soon.
All is well :)

Hey,
I felt like a loser last night for ruining our last half hour together because I was too busy crying. But then you wiped and kissed my tears away. And you said "Baby, please dont cry. Shh don't cry." And the car ride back to your house was the quietest ever because there were no words that could be said and we just held hands. I'm glad that I was driving because it gave me something else to focus on besides how badly I am going to miss you.
And part of me was crying because I was going to miss you so much, like I did the first time you went away. And another part was crying because you are the first person I've ever cried about leaving, except for my mom when she dropped me off on the first day of kindergarten. And the parts that were left of me were crying because I was trying so hard to memorize the temperature of your skin and the callouses on your fingers and the smell of your skin and the color of your eyes and the way your lips feel and how you look at me with nothing but pure love in your eyes.
I miss you and it's only been less then 24 hours.
