Taylor could do little more than push peas around on her plate as she sat at dinner alone.

She kept looking up to see the distraught faces, mostly at the Gryffindor table, and the sympathy she felt for them made her stomach turn. Of course, what really made her queasy was the mixture of nonchalant to smug expressions she saw when she peeked a glance at the Slytherin table. Some of them actually seemed pleased and she couldn't help but wonder if perhaps one or more of them had had some small part in the 'accident' in the woods.

She couldn't help but wish she had someone to keep her company this time, despite normally feeling more than happy about eating alone. Tragedies always made her want to feel connected, and this time was no different, even if she hadn't known the boy outside of a quick smile exchanged in class.

ooc: Wow. Boredom is a killer. Don't suppose anyone is up who would want to RP? I won't bite - I swear. :)
