I can stand on the corner of my street and Grove St. and in one direction, not even a block away, see 2 new housing communities that have been for sale for months(maybe going on a year or more, I can't even remember anymore) that are still empty. In the other direction, on my street going east, there is another small housing community on the opposite corner that may have sold 2 units but is otherwise empty. And coming back towards my house, next to the fire station, there is another housing community being built that will most likely have the same fate as the other 3..AND NOW the lot right next to my house..that has been empty for the 7 years we've lived here(and before that)..has just been attacked by contractors in the last few days who tore down my favorite beautiful yellow tree and every other tree along our drive-way and are beginning their work on a "high density" affordable housing community. Fuck. That.
We didn't learn after the second expensive housing community NOBODY BOUGHT so we had to build 2 more? They are JUST NOW going to make affordable housing?! We couldn't have used one of those other lots that were ready for development and left the lot next to my house empty? or maybe made it into a nice open lawn/park sort of deal? THAT would have been nice and of much better use when considering all of the other lots they turned into expensive housing.
The "Foss Creek Villas" were once normal affordable apartments.. so logically they threw everyone out to remodel them into a deserted neighborhood.
It's too dumb for words and I can only hope for the best for whatever/whoever happens to be in the lot that is going to be hugging my house(It's seriously as close as they could get).
Why Healdsburg? WHY?

There was a moutain lion spotted on campus yesterday so we're supposed to be cautious.
...I didn't get out of class until 9:40pm tonight so the campus was pretty empty..I'm walking into one of the parking lots kinda spaced out and another girl is walking about 5 ft in front of me. we're walking past the rec center and a few trees when all of a sudden a girl jumps out from behind a tree and goes "RAWR, I'm a scary mountain lion!"
and then walks away with the other girl.
yeah, a "you had to be there" story I guess, but that's how most of my stories go. but it was just silly because it was topical and stuff, you know? well..I laughed about it anyways..

bah! I just looked at the final exam schedule and I'm gunna miss the FFA parade!! I might not even make it in time for the fair that first night(which is the only day worth going). damnit. I fail. next year I'm planning my schedule around FFA fair weekend.

FYE sucks. What a waste of a store.
3 main reasons:
1) Everything is over-priced.
2) They have very little in stock and what they do have is disorganized.
3) Their website sucks and won't take my giftcard even though it still has money on it.
The only good thing about them is that they sell tickets for ticketmaster...which sucks too so it's not much of a good point.
Useless.

next time I want to have more than 3 classes in a day, somebody slap me. Tuesdays and Thursdays are like THE longest days ever. esepcially Thursday because I have a meeting right after my last class. I'm on campus for 9-10 hours. yeah I could leave campus at some point, but I would only have enough time to drive somewhere and turn right back around before my next class starts.
although it does make my one class Mondays and Wednesdays seem really awesome :)
good thing is I made it at least 6 weeks into the semester before I got frusturated with this schedule.
p.s. I've somehow lost all comprehension of when to use "than" or "then" in a sentence so bare with me until I understand again. even if it was re-explained to me I don't think it would stick right now so yeeeeah..whatevs.

I had another vampire dream last night lol. ughhhhh. sounds funny, but holy shit are they crazy. everything is extremely realistic except for..well..there being vampires lol.
damn those dreams though. I have no idea what brings them on. I haven't even seen a vampire movie in months.
other than that: school is going pretty well, my car brokedown and I've been having to get rides to school all week(and probably again next week), I'm going to Louisiana in a few weeks, and I have exciting plans!

My mom and I went to El Torito(across from In N Out) to have dinner and about 5 min after we got there, the Phenomenauts walked in! :) it made my day
EDIT:// Dominic formerly from Love Equals Death(still super sad) showed up too! It turns out it was some sort of surprise party for him. Aww, I missed him so much! If there weren't so many people there I would have gone up and talked to him but I was a whimp lol.
That made up for missing seeing Samm, Martin and John in SF today. Though I'm still gunna try and get a ticket for the Freaks and Geeks Q&A tomorrow. I'm leaving at 8 in the morning haha. Hopefully if I don't get in, I'll at least get to see them. (It starts at 12 by the way so I'm not that crazy and leaving at 8AM for a night event).

Britney Spears' 16 year old sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, is pregnant. How terrible is that?
Edit:// I forgot to mention...I can't help but think that this could be some big publicity stunt to get the attention off of Britney for a bit. Could be wrong, but at the same time Jamie Lynn seems a little too willing to share this information. Also, it wouldn't ruin her career with Nickelodeon if she was jking, lol.

For some reason I keep forgetting that it's Thanksgiving tomorrow. It just doesn't seem like that time of year already, and even though I got out of school a day earlier than I normally would, it seems like the beginning of break is way closer to Thanksgiving than it used to. I don't know, I'm weird, but it just doesn't feel like it right now. I guess tomorrow during dinner it'll kick in.
I think I'm going to go do Black Friday this year. I can't remember if I ever have, and I know it's gunna be chaos, but I want to go for once. Large crowds in stores is one of my biggest aggrivations though so who knows if I will explode. I'm kinda scared... ^_^ they better have amazing deals.

I have the opportunity to go to Louisiana in March for spring break as part of Alternative Breaks where we'll help build houses for people who lost theirs in the hurricane. It's part of Habitat for Humanity which is really awesome, but I don't know if I will go. It costs $950, but that's including airfare and room, etc. for a whole week. Not to shabby I guess, but it's still a lot of money. I feel kind of guilty because it's for a good cause, but I don't want to pay all of it out of pocket. I guess I could fundraise? Well I have until Friday to decide, so I guess I'll see what happens...
I drove to school today for my morning class, only to get there and see a note posted on the door saying class was cancelled because the instructor was sick. Now it might just be me who thinks this, but isn't the whole purpose of a school e-mail account and WebCT6 supposed to be for them to notify us of any changes ahead of time? Although it did help to ease the frusturation to see a few other people from the class looking pissed off as they were leaving too lol.
oh my god. Michael Black and Sho were so hilarious. They were especially funny when they were up there together. I can't wait for them to come back. I think the Fillmore needs to rethink it's seating configuration for comedy shows though. Over half the audience had to stand(I got a seat :) )
but the Fillmore is still neat and Tiger Army and Love Equals Death are gunna be there on the 4th. It's gunna be super.

Hiiiiiiiiiii. I'm back from never writing in this. Roonil is cute and a sleepy head, and I felt you should all know that about him.
I'm so happy it's raining! yay!! it's so cozy and stuff. I love hanging out in Borders or Barnes and Noble when it's raining as weird as that sounds, but I thought you would all like to know that about me.
I feel like taking French again. I wanna take some language, but I don't want to forget what French I did learn so maybe I'll take it at the JC soon. maybe even with Ms. Melin again :) haha. she's crazy, but it's been a long enough time making it so I don't remember exactly how crazy and possibly mean she was so why not? I'm pretty excited.
oh man, Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter on Friday! their funniness is too much for words. I think this may be the best day of my life. or at least one of the best days of the year fo sho. woo :)!

eck. the news is starting to make me sick. I've already been nervous because my flight is on the 4th of July, the day we celebrate our American independence, and nobody really likes us, and I'm going to England and those same people who don't like us don't really like them. and there's those car bombings in London and Scotland now. SCOTLAND. that's like our Canada. they don't do shit to anybody, they're just a bystander, and the hat to a country that's more so in the spot light. that makes me really nervous. but then again who would do something to virgin airlines? it's like the most random airline to do anything to. shit. if something happens, it happens, but my mom doesn't want me to go anymore and I still want to because I've been waiting for this for forever, but I don't want her to be all sad and scared the whole time. Though right now I'm getting more and more scared every second dammit. FUCK TERRORISTS. can't they just keep innocent people out of their fucking problems?? I really think I'm gunna be sick...

I just had a great nap, and a medicore sandwich.
so the schedule is up for next week...and I work almost every single day over spring break, for a total of 27.5 hours. now I have to miss all of those wild parties. SADFACE. but seriously, yay, because that means..as one of my coworkers so delicately put it "I get hella bank." lmao, I can't say that at all keeping a straight face.
I miss Love Equals Death. especially after saturday. but all you people who didn't answer your phones and come to the Phoenix, shame on you. you missed out times 20. last time Taty and I went by ourselves, we saw like nobody we knew, but this time I saw about 10 awesome people. I love the Phenomenauts also by the way.
I'm traveling this summer. Thought it was about time I let you guys know. It'll be for just like 10 days, but still, FINALLY.
Linker's class has never been more uncomfortable. I'm not even kidding, I think he hates us. That's sad, because we're leaving in about 2 months and it had been a pretty nice year so far.

I'm going to Sonoma State. I love the campus. But I'll be commuting, so who knows how I'll like it later.
