The reception venue we're looking at now requires us to book a tent for the outdoor reception we want (because it's in November). *headdesk*
Those of you who have rented tents for your weddings, plan to rent tents, or are experts in the business of tents- what did you pay? Some of the rental places I'm finding online seem really excessive. I need to seat something like, let's say, 150 people. I can get a couple of the Starshade 800s pictured on this page for $500 (I think).
On the plus side, my photographer is only going to charge me $300 for the entire day- ceremony at the Botanical Gardens with just the close family, portraits and then however long the reception turns out to be. He's awesome. :D |

When you’re as in-demand and internationally-known as Rihanna, a crazy travel schedule is just part of the game. And last night (October 5), she was spotted catching a flight at LAX International Airport. The “Take a Bow” songstress looked cute and casual as she cleared the security checkpoint, sporting a plaid blazer with black slim fit trousers and a pair of Converse All-Stars.

It has truly now been confirmed that singer Usher’s wife, Tameka Foster-Raymond, is pregnant with their second child. Tameka was spotted at the opening of Playwright’s Tyler Perry’s multimillion-dollar TV and film studio on Saturday. Usher could not attend the celebrity gala.

It seems I forgot one other rule that seems to be overlooked recently.
If drama errupts in the comments of a post, keep it in the comments! Any community post made to fuel the drama will be deleted, no warnings.
If your original post got deleted, then it's probably safe to assume there was a reason for it. We moderators don't delete posts for no reason. If you have a question about why something was deleted, we're easily contacted. This does not mean you can make a new post lamenting how you were treated. In fact, it means the exact opposite.
It is NEVER appropriate to make a new post to chastise members for their behavior. If you have a problem with things other members have said, that's what we're here for. Any post made to correct other members will be deleted.
Unless you're ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) kageneko, lizzie9208, or annabelle_blue, it's not your place to make a brand new post to point out rules violations or tell others they were wrong. Attempts to do so just fuel drama. Also, just because others may have violated rules doesn't excuse you from violating them yourself.
Save the drama for your mama and don't be that person. If you think you're being treated unfairly, our mailboxes are open.
And as a reminder, the rule on illegal activity is non-negotiable. Period. Point blank. The end. We shouldn't have to say it once, much less twice. |

Johnny Depp is to become the highest paid actor of all time after it was reported that he will be earning £32 million for starring in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film.
The 44 year old is to make the record breaking amount for reprising his role as the eccentric pirate Jack Sparrow. It dwarfs the previous record setter - Tom Hanks' £29 million for forthcoming The Da Vinci Code sequel Angels & Demons.
An insider told The Sun, "It's a lot of swag but they just can't make another without Sparrow."
While Depp is integral to the swashbuckling franchise, which has made Disney £1.5 billion, it's been reported that the fourth outing won't feature Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. It's been rumoured the film will instead focus on Sparrow's journey to find the fountain of youth.
Pirates of Caribbean 4 is to be released in 2011.

Lucas plays both Tweedledum and Tweedledee in the update of Lewis Carroll’s classic story. Depp is clearly a fan of British comedy having previously appeared on The Fast Show and The Vicar of Dibley.

I had two concerns going into my wedding. 1)My wedding dress that was tailored incorrectly 2)My bestfriend and bridesmaid from Switzerland who was unable to get a visa. But luckily both worked themselves out. I had the bridal shop let the dress out and unfortunately I had no time to try it on again before the wedding due to work, but I put it on the day of and it was perfect! And as for my bestfriend, we had several U.S. congressmen contact the consulate in Bern Switzerland and my girlfriend's Visa appointment was moved up and she was granted a two year Visa and made it to the states for my wedding!!!! Everything else went just as well. Tons of pics under the cut. The ceremony and reception were held at the Union League in Philadelphia. The photographer was Faith West, the band was Purple Reign from Bobby B Entertainment and flowers were by Carl Alan.

So my sister is getting married this coming Valentines Day and we need to get her a dress! We went out shopping on Saturday and found her dream dress, but it's more than she wants to spend. So I told her I would see what I could do to find a similar dress. I'm not having much luck. :( Help?

ACTING legend Patrick Stewart is to make a giant leap across space — from Star Trek to Doctor Who.
He has agreed to a major role in the Time Lord’s next series after teaming up with the Doctor (David Tennant) on stage.
The pair starred in a production of Hamlet in the summer. Patrick — Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek — has been offered a role in a two-parter involving the Daleks, set to be screened next year.
The new series will also see the return of classic alien enemies the Ice Warriors and the Zygons. Patrick, 68, is a big Doctor Who admirer and has spoken in the past of his desire to star in the show.
He said: “I have been a fan, actually yes, and I’m deeply dismayed that I was never asked to be in it. I think it’s a terrific series.” A source said: “Patrick and David are firm friends now, and want to work together again. They’ve got chemistry and that’s what Doctor Who is all about.
“Patrick’s role is still being finalised but the plan is for him to play a renegade Time Lord called the Meddling Monk, who was last seen in Doctor Who in the 1960s. The Doctor thought his entire race was wiped out and gets a huge surprise to find another member of his species.”
The Monk was originally played by Carry On film favourite Peter Butterworth. Our insider added: “Patrick’s agent is now involved and everyone is really keen. His role is a belter.”

DanRad's Grandmother has passed away.
Daniel Radcliffe is mourning the loss of his Ulster-born gran. Elsie Radcliffe — the teenager’s biggest fan — died on Thursday after a long battle against illness. The 79-year-old Banbridge woman had been suffering from heart-related problems. Daniel (19) had been very close to his grandmother and had made frequent visits to her at her Co Down home. The young actor, currently filming the latest Harry Potter movie and starring in a play in New York, is expected to fly into Northern Ireland tomorrow for the pensioner’s funeral. Elsie, who had been living with her daughter Linda and son-in-law Drew, told friends she was her grandson’s number one fan. Last year, the retired hospital worker flew to London to see him on stage in the controversial play Equus. Said a family friend: “She just lover her grandson so much and was so proud of him. Elsie was his number one fan and loved all the Harry Potter movies.” Daniel was born in west London, the son of Elsie’s son Alan Radcliffe, a literary agent, and his wife, Marcia, a casting agent. Elsie Radcliffe’s funeral will take place from the First Presbyterian Non-Subscribing Church on the Downshire Road, Banbridge this afternoon.

Christina Aguilera Vows To Stay Raunchy!!!
CHRISTINA Aguilera has vowed to stay raunchy -- despite being a mother. The Dirrty hitmaker gave birth to son Max in January. But she insists motherhood won't affect her performances. She says, "It is important to show Max what mommy does. It is really important to me is that he is an individual and that's why it is important for me to stay true to myself. If it happens to be raunchy so be it! It's a matter of self expression to me." However, the star admits she has struggled to get back into shape since giving birth. She added, "I am not a fan of working out whatsoever. I am building up my stamina as we speak. "It's been a while since I have put on such a long show and since having a baby."
