I had this very crazy dream this afternoon.
I went to sleep to take a nap before work, and had some stuff on my mind. I'm thinking that's what caused the nightmare.
It started off at my house. There was a family party going on, and I had a few friends over as well. We were all outside when my Uncle Mike showed up. He had a weird animal with him that he told me was a giraffe, but it looked like a giraffe/emu combo. He put it in the kennel and I asked to play with it or pet it or something, and he let me. While I was investigating this creature, my friends noticed my brother Kyle and his friend go into the woods. So all my friends (Nicole, Nick, Heidi, Brittnie, and Brittnie's friend [who doesn't exist in real life]) decided to go too. Except they all hopped in a car and drove, and I noticed last second, so I got in my car.
I followed them on this road that went into my woods, but soon after I left I realized I didn't put the giraffe back in the kennel, I only tied its leash to a post. So I drove back by myself.
Soon thereafter, Kyle's friend came running out of the woods with blood all over his head. He tried telling me that there was a black man in the woods who was killing everyone. He then died.
So I started freaking out, and ran in the house because by then it was dark out and everyone else was inside. But before I went in the house, I heard screams in the woods. I went in and tried telling everyone what was going on, and no one believed me. I started crying, telling everyone that I was really scared. My mom told me we shouldn't have been drinking. I told her I wasn't, and she didn't believe me.
Somehow I figured out that there was a black man in the woods and that everyone was dead, or in the process of being killed.
Writing it down, it isn't that scary, but I was terrified.
