Hopes fade for Sao Paulo victims
The governor of the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo says it is unlikely anyone will be pulled alive from the rubble of a collapsed underground station.

I have been following the underground station drama since it happened, on Friday, and it's pretty silly, considering the size of the accident and all the rubble accumulated at the site, but I was hoping they would find survivors. It's said that the minivan driver tried to contact his wife on his cellphone but they were only able to listen to him cry for help as the call died out. I can't imagine how despairing that must have been for her.

My prayers go to the families of the people involved in this accident - that was sadly predictable. Also, I pray for a little more respect and consideration from the government side, thank you very much. There had been several signs indicating this construction was giving in, and minor accidents prior to this. It's unbelievable they let this get to this point. That's how considerate the people we vote for our with their own voters.




Also, since we're talking news. WTF with this? Woman Drowns Herself To Death After Water Contest.
Faith in humanity lowers two points today.
