It's Saturday. I have absolutely nothing to do other than walk down to the post-office, post two of my bookmooch books and then go see my hairdresser (which, i'm still stupidly excited about and we're ony TALKING about the style/colour... *rolls eyes at self*) Plus, going to mums = free food, which, y'know, never a bad thing.. why, yes - i will just happen to turn up at lunch time, why do you ask? ;)
For now though, I shall stop rambling and start posting ( The Pretty )

I'm going to the Panic show on the 23rd at Rod Laver, and i was wondering if i'm sneaky and can get away with bringing my camera in, would they take it from me if i'm in the pit or not?

Hi guys, I just posted the first 30 photos (of 80-100 ish) from the Panic show at the Astoria. I actually got barrier for once so decided to make it worth it and got some really great shots. Nothing is Watermarked, everything full-size so please be nice and credit me if you repost them or icon them. If you really feel you must steal them and pass them off as your own, I hope you feel awfully guilty and develop warts. or something.

Steve Carlson - One Thing |

Today has been SO much better than yesterday. Very productive - both work and fanfiction wise.
I only had two query reports this morning, which made me feel so much better and much less like yesterdays 'i fail' mindset oh the joys of bipolar disorder *rolls eyes at self*
Plus I felt ridiculously proud of myself for managing to balance a huge-ass 250k invoice... it took me over half hour and I had to make a couple of reversals but it balanced! *preen*
Have been writing too.
Wrote the first of my prompts from that pick a number for a song on my itunes and pick a fandom meme... fandom was Supernatural and song ended up being Good Charlotte's Girls & Boys... leading me, naturally, to write a g-rated Gen pre-series fic about the reasons dean can pick up chicks is because of the impala and him letting Sammy take a girl to a dance in it...
That one should be posted either later tonight or at some point tomorrow morning.
This weekend will be lovely though - I have the house to myself cos both Lysa & Jo are away with their fellas... again... leaving me to look after their cats... again
Was hoping to go over to Witney tonight to see the lads from Last Letter Read (yes, again) but no-one wants to come with me *pout* and don't really fancy going on my own so I think it'll just be a pizza, a bottle of smirnoff ice and curl up to finish watching the Angel S2 boxset.
Chel & I are thinking of toddling off to High Wycombe on Sunday (yup, to see Last Letter Read) so we shall see what happens with that one :)
I have an appt to go discuss stuff with my hairdresser tomorrow afternoon... i want all the damaged frizzy bleached hair cut off leaving only the healthy virgin hair... need to sort out a style with her.. something easily manageable... i miss being able to just run my fingers
through my hair then go to work. Colourwise I'm wanting a deep purple/red with some brighter red going through.. just need to talk to Lisa about it and sort out price etc... am all excited lol

OMFG I am devastated you have no idea it happened soooooooo fast! like within less than 2 hours!:( He was on sofa lying around and purring as always and i was brushing him. Then he coughed as if he had a hairball and he got down. Then i went to go in shower and im just getting undressed when mam shouts me. She was like "he cant walk his back legs have gone" :(so i start panicking run down stairs and he was lying there outside trying to stand up and then he started to cry :(
So i picked him up and ran him inside. Then he started to pant prob cause he was stressed and could not breath so well:( so we ran the vet and they said bring him right down. In the car he got so scared he just poohed all over poor mother. The vet put him straight on oxygen and put him in another room and she examined him. Said that she thought he had had a blood clot in his lungs that went to his legs and it caused him to loose all sensation. Then she goes "unfortunately" and at that point i died i knew what she was gonna say. :(So yeah he has gone all in under 2 hours. My head is all over the place i cant get around how he was ok one min and gone the next He was in our lives for 2 years and he brought so much happiness! =[

It's Friday... thank Kripke!
It seems to have been a very very long week and I know that's because new job, new systems, new everything and my brain hurts but even so... it's taken a long time to get here and I'm very glad of it!
Also, lets hope today is better than yesterday... eh can't be much worse I suppose LOL

You know what?
Scratch everything I just said this morning... I'm gonna have to start getting to work at like 08:00, just to find somewhere to park. I got there at 08:25 this morning, thinking I'd have a nice 08:30-16:30 day...nope, after circling our car park twice, not finding anywhere and following another car down the road to another of our buildings, parking in the multi-storey, crossing the duel carriage way and walking back up, I started work at 08:50 *rolls eyes*
Then proceeded to have an utterly shite day!
Got in and had tons of invoice query notification emails and spent pretty much all morning sitting with Steve fixing all my screw-ups.
Steve assured me they aren't screw-ups... some of them are just quirks of the system with regards to delivery receipts, some of them were his fault because he didn't tell me about release numbers and some of them, yes, are things I've screwed up but as Steve keeps telling me - i'm still learning, of course i'm going to make mistakes... it's new procedures, new systems and they'd worry if i DIDN'T make mistakes.
Easy for him to say though - he's not the one with a list of screwupsa query report a mile long.
It's stupid - yesterday I was feeling fantastic now... i feel like I just spent the whole day doing everything wrong and that i'm a total failure
*cries*
I've gotten myself so worked up I have a headache and I feel sick... and I'm trying my damndest not to just curl up and cry.

Still trying to sort myself out a routine for the morning - I've worked out that I need to leave home before 08:15, but still working on the getting up thing. I think I'm getting it organised to be up for 07:00.. shall see how that works out over the next couple of days. Just gotta get myself into a routine and I'll be fine... Routine's are always good... well, they are if you're me, anyway!
Now if only the weather would get itself sorted cos I never know what to wear to work at the moment... i wear a 3/4 sleeve top and I bake. So I wear a thinner top and it's chilly... maybe I ought to stick to short sleeve tops with a black cardi or something?
Mind, having said that, in a couple weeks when I'm paid, I'm gonna need to womble over to George and get myself some new work clothes... non-winter jumper type ones cos those are all I really have and I'm gonna roast!
New clothes \o/
For now though, I'm gonna post ( The Morning Wibble ) and read for a little since I'm way too early this morning! LOL
