Fic: "Sow in Tears" 1/1
Sow in Tears
S J Smith
Disclaimer: As of yet, I have not found a way to become either Hiromu Arakawa or Joss Whedon. Not for lack of trying.
Rating: Anyone can read.
Pairing: Supposed to be Ed/Winry...it's more Rezembool Trio-ish to me.
Written for the
fireandice2008 challenge, with the prompt "Frost on the pumpkin". My prompt didn't really get used. *shrug*
Thanks, as always, to
cornerofmadness for the edits.

Synopsis: Unable to protect their friend while they search for the Philosopher’s Stone, the Elric brothers do the only thing they can to reassure Winry that they haven’t forgotten her.

One of those whacky anony-thingies. I can't find the wording of the one I want to do, but! Comments screened. Say whatever you want to me that you wouldn't otherwise if it wasn't an anonymous situation. Comments screened!
Yep.

Because apparently I need to explain this...
( Mandy and financial assets, 101. )
I am grateful for all of the support I get from each and every one of you. It's brought me through very hard times, and I know there will be things that are disagreed with, both now in the future. But this is something that I do know what I'm doing on, and I'm protected by the government so that it cannot be messed up. There is no reason to worry about me in this particular situation. :)
Thank you.

I can't do a con this year. I also can't go anywhere for New Years, considering I'll be under heavy medical treatment then. So my trip for the year needs to be done before November 3rd.
Here's the question, guys - where should I go?
Poll #1272231 Vacation
Open to: All, detailed results viewable to: All
Bemefits of the Carolinas: Seeing Mackenzie and Leigh if they'll have me, and seeing where I may move to (South Carolina).
Benefits of Boston/Portland: Benefits of seeing colleges, seeing Cathryn and Jo and Ellipses and any other Milliwaysers that are in the area, if they'll have me.
Benefits of Toronto: ....most of my dearest friends in the world. Also checking out colleges.

A favour I won't ask again -
They payed my sister and I little with my last SSI check, because they insisted I catch up on my bills before resetting to start. That's right and fine, but that means what they gave us lasted a week - and our next checks won't arrive until Monday.
This means my sister and I haven't eaten much in four days. We've survived this far, out of her willingness to dig out old fish from the back of the freezer that's suspiciously old, and my limits to babyfood and jello, but they want me to make the jump to regular food again before Monday. Yesterday and today, we've eaten nothing at all. I'm not trying to go 'poor us', but I am offering the mere truth. The favour I'm asking is if someone can order us food on campusfood.com, and we will pay it back next week when our check arrives. Just enough to get us through the weekend, until the bank opens again. $10-20 would do it.
If someone could please do this, I would be extremely grateful. This is part of what's contributed to my sour mood lately, although I tend to try to hide it when it gets this bad.
Thanks.
