Have you heard about Asgarda, rumored to be a neo-Amazonian tribe/cult of women warriors in the Ukrainian mountains?  Nadya Lev at Coilhouse provides an excellent overview, not only of the facts that can be gleaned about these women, but also of the media myth-making that's sprung up around them. 



Whether they're really a new tribe of female warriors or a bunch of students on a martial arts retreat, I suspect Xena would approve.
