Hey, all you lovers of strange creatures -- for this weekend only, my friend Jane is clearing out her Etsy store inventory at 50% off. Jane makes amazing little forest people out of scrap leather and fur and gemstones and clay over wire and stuff. I'm in the middle of writing an article for Strange Horizons about the artist and her art, but no amount of words or pictures can convey how fierce and adorable these creatures are; you have to see them in person to fully appreciate their magic. To see them is to want to hold them, stroke their hair, move their arms and legs around and play with them. All of which Jane heartily encourages.
