5:40 pm - College, woot!
|
I am about to head out for my first day (technically evening) of college. I'm a litte nervous but more excited than anything. It's been a fairly modest day. I woke to Dave's arms around me, him whispering in my ear that he loves me. He's proud of me and I'm proud of me too.
I've spent that last 2 hours mopping up water, because the basement flooded...again. It's a slow process. Only got 25% of it cleaned up.
I'm not sure what to write. I always have trouble getting the poetry out of my head and onto paper. It never comes out the way I want it to.
Last night I watched the Notebook for the second time and bawled. The first time when I I had seen it in the theatre, I'd never experienced that kind of undying love and passion. Now I know.
What I'm wearing - fav. blue jeans, yellow happy meal tshirt over black tank top, cookie monster undies, spider socks and work shoes. and a black hoodie.
That's all I have for now. I'll write more later.

I am currently reading "Memnoch the Devil" by Anne Rice. I should read books 1-4 of The Vampire Chronicles first but..they never hold my interest as long as this one has.
SAT is on Saturday. I've hardly studied. All I really need to focus on is the Math section. Crossing my fingers and hoping I do well.

Wellllllll, Dave and I are going to see the Sox play the Cubs tonight @ Cellular Field. I'm quite excited. I hope the Sox win. Annnnd Sunday is...GAY PRIDE PARADE! Waahooo! And Ricky from My So Called Life is Grand Marshall. This weekend is gonna be great.

This year has definately been far better. Not only are the people around me happy, I, Mello, am also very happy. I do believe I have found my prince charming. We are mad for each other. Also, I decided that most definately I will pursue a career in fashion and costume design, My 20 year old car has FINALLY kicked the bucket. Therefore, I have a new ride and it is a pimpmobile :D A 1978 Delta 88. She's a nice ride.
So, it may be safe to say, this year is gonna be pretty sweet.

Christmas has come..and gone. I got many wonderful presents, and it snowed enough to make it a white christmas so that was lovely. Now, a WHOLE new year is coming, I am exciting. I'm waiting for this hellish year to END already. Br...it's freezing.

I am having the worst luck lately. My poor mom is in the hospitol with 2 kidney stones and an infection in her kidneys. The stones are 7mm and 4mm, that is big. They are doing the procedure to remove them tomorrow, but I just feel so bad for her. I wish I was there, not her. Plus she doesn't have insurance so that means high hospitol bills. I'm going to help her pay them , no matter what she says.
And a better note, I saw a poster for "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" with my lovely Johnny on it <3 He looked wicked!!
I'm staring my Xmas shopping Friday, I'm a tad excited.

Halloween is so near! And Autumn is here. I <3 Autumn. Even when it is dreary and dark outside. I am writing from a library computer. It sucks. I should be getting internet soon. I'll probably get AOL again since Circuit City employees get a 25% discount.
I can't wait to go home and play with my kitten :D Her name is Sally, after Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas.
I am thinking about going to college, so I can at least get a start with my art education. Although it is Purdue...blah.
