10:52 am - Weekend's Ramblings
Well, Quest Waikato was silly amounts of fun - chasing undead, guarding a noble (who turned out to be a Prince in disguise), getting charged with treason... and getting off, getting a hate on for necormancers, and so on! Bit like Mordavia, but without the pressure of the 'you have to save the world' component, and with a great deal more silly fun. And now I have enough XP to level up! Wootwoot!
Definitely going to the next game. And am going to give a glowing report to NZLARPS - AJ invited me to give one, and I'd be happy to promote such a fun game. :) We need more games like that.
And I managed to blackline more Praetorians this morning, so I might have some colour on them by the time I get to BattleCry. Probably some of the Arcuarii too. *shrug* One can only hope.
I could go to Stargate today, but I'm just feeling too tired. Yesterday wasn't exactly fun, and the tension's only just beginning to dissipate.
Tracey came to pick up the rest of her gear. And was being snarky and bitchy. Mostly at David, but some at me. Less we go into that the better, because it was just all bad. Gods know that I was avoiding her on purpose, and when I couldn't, I was being icily polite, because that was the only way I was going to not start snapping at her. Thank the gods that Aaron and Paul appeared when they did, that took a lot of the tension off, but nevertheless...
Anyway, it's over.
*sigh* So I'm going to be heinously lazy today, muck around on internet and compu (Hey, might be a good time to do more of Reflections or Alliance...), and have a bash at finishing Praetorian blacklining... in other words, not do much. After I've applied for more jobs.
Oh, good news on that front. I have an interview on Friday, and I'm hopeful. :)

Yes, the Cookie Bear warcry. Because I can. :D
I have stuff to do, but I'm currently taking a break from the madness of a WM genderchange fic (appearing thus far: Vicky, Stryker, and Allister), and the '40-page epic' (to quote David) which Kasmira's story has turned into.
The Skorne are looking pretty good: The Titan is done, and looks spectacular; Morghoul is done but for inking, and the Cyclopses are base-coloured. I think they're going to be difficult to paint. Next time, I'm going to paint, then stick them together. I don't care if it's more work, it'll stop me going mad. *grr*
Jack is more done than before, but not huge progress on it thus far. *shrug* I'll get it done. And the warcaster armour that I'm planning on is only planned, thus far... :/ Yes, I'm planning on making Haley's armour, because she's the warcaster I look most like. (Having light brown hair, and being female). Should be cool, when I get it underway...
Other than that... Heath's playing FFX-2, David's reading the Gaunt's Ghosts trilogy, and AJ is asleep.
*shrug* Having a somewhat normal life is a blessing. :D

Life, the Universe, and Everything is Good.
My god, it's so good to say that.
Holidays are relaxing me so much. No more horrific hours for work, no more exams. Just what I want to do, when I want to do (with the minor exclusion of someone generally getting up at 6am and disturbing my beauty sleep :P ).
There are a few things I need to work on - I'm helping with a couple of LARPs, so I have some writeups and sketches/drawings. Got to send off some Masquerade details, too. Also need to finish off character sheets and backstories for a couple of RPGs - though that's pleasure, not work. As is the writing I'm getting done.
I'm getting crafty things I wanted to get done - the jack is on the way, the dress is (kinda) happening, cross-stitch is being considered, and (best of all), my Skorne are actually getting painted. Technically, they should be red and gold, but I am feeling unique - and therefore, they shall be blue and gold. The story is they're Vinter's personal guard, but it's more that blue and gold and silver are my personal colours.
Oh, and a great personal life. :D Though you guys probably picked that up - I'm going out with David.
*smile* So... that's me, as of recently. Like I said, it's all good.
