BioI'm a student who does Chemistry at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
I have too little time, too little money, and far too much study on my hands, but somehow, I still manage to read and buy books compulsively... I'm not sure this is a bad thing, but anyway...
In terms of sports, I am a member of Auckland Sword & Shield (medieval martial arts). Swords are a fascination I've had since I was small, and now that I can indulge, I'm learning them...
I am _very_ addicted to anime and manga, and occasionally write fanfics for them. If you're interested in anything I've written, go to http://www.fanfiction.net/u/616052/ - it's my profile page. Right now, I only have FullMetal Alchemist and Rurouni Kenshin fics up, but I will be posting more... eventually...
LARP (Live Action Role Playing) has recently become something I'm involved in... Mordavia (http://www.mordavia.com) is a where players dress up as certain characters, and act out scenarios. It is very, very engrossing, and a wonderful way to use your acting skills and imagination.
Also adding to the geekery is a new obsession: WARMACHINE and HORDES. It is THE best miniatures game EVAR! I currently field the Skorne basic warband, and *borrow* the Cygnarans whenever I can. Awesome characters (*fangirls over Allister*), and a great setting - Iron Kingdoms is the d20 RPG world.
