12:13 am - Yet More Customer Service...
Actually a half-decent day at work today. Two sales (in the first hour), and no utter asstards until the end of the day, when I was tanked on four cups of coffee and was just kinda letting it all roll off me.
Oh, and encountered the MOST ANNOYING ANSWERING MACHINE EVAR. They're bad enough as is, but this takes the cake...
"Hello? Hello? Are you there? Because we're not. *name* is not available to come to the phone right now, please leave a message after the beep."
I swear, some people think they're funny when they're SO not.
And I had to listen to a woman (I will not grace her with the title 'lady') rambling on about how shit her life was. And I can't just hang up, because it would give the company a bad reputation.

Assbiscuits. I swear I wrote more. Oh well, it was mostly rant. But ranting is good.
The amusing bit I can recall: that I encountered customers called Vicky, Cole, Gloria, Allister, and Mikael today. Spelled like that, too. Made me giggle more than it should, but I suspect that was mostly due to excess coffee.
Anyhoozle, as I was saying, I was goin' to do more work on the Makeda piccie - the Lylyth one was well-received, and I'm hoping ot do all the Hordes ladies - they seem to be a bit ignored, in favour of the WM ladies.
Oh, and I got a lovely frilly Victorian shirt from Recycle Boutique, so my steampunk outfit is now complete. Will piccie-fy and post up.
