12:06 am - The Daily Grind
I'm beginning to understand why they call it that. It's been two days of weekend, and I'm still exhausted. I'm going to bed, in the hopes of getting sleep. I just crash out, sleep like a log, and yet I wake up tired - honestly tired.

I hate Mondays... I hate any weekday, actually.

I swear, this job is sucking out my soul.

On the upside, I have moneys for stuffs. Like the pirate boots with two-inch heels I bought for $30 from Hannah's - there shall be a Skarre costume upcoming, btw. And I could actually afford WM/H stuff, if I could be motivated to get it.

Lack of motivation is a real problem right about now.

I have many things to paint, draw, write, but I'm just so tired...

The daily grind is well-named, alas. It helps to have a job you truly enjoy, but even those have their 'argh' days/weeks/months. It does smooth out over the years, and being able to pay bills is A Good Thing. :) Are you done-done with uni or planning to return? I did my education in phases that spanned about 10 years total, ending with an MS degree in information science.

Do get enough sleep, it helps.

A Skarre costume? Whoa! That would be very cool. And you'd be able to pull it off nicely, methinks.

I agree. Skarre = w00t! Just remember, thou shalt not "squee" as Skarre - it's highly inappropriate for the Pirate Queen of Cryx ;)

Indeed, being able to pay bills is good.
I'm not quite done with Uni... I still have about a year to go, but right now is a bit of a hiatus due to horrible results in the last semester. <_< The Skarre costume might take a bit of doing, but I do hope that its briefness will reduce the amount of work necessary! :P

Yeah, the money is nice. The trouble sleeping is horrid. Try and think happy thoughts.

But how are you going to manage the Great Rack...

Attaching those horns will be all kinds of difficult.

Ah, the Great Rack... yeah, papier-mache is suggesting itself very favourably. I think 'a great deal of spirit gum' will be the attachment method. :)

I was avoiding the obvious innuendo, for obvious reasons.

For the other Great Rack, a push-up bra should help. :P

He was all "Cry! Woe is me! She missed my innuendo!" and I was all like "Pssh whatever!"

Or something like that anyway ;)

You get your NQs yet? Huh huh?

Me? Miss innuendo? More like Miss Innuendo. :P And that particular one is utterly unmissable anyway.

Am getting NQ9 and NQ11 tomorrow, but Vagabonds seem to be missing NQ10 (for no readily explained reason). I'm meeting another WMer at Battle Haven on Saturday to play a couple of games, so I'll get it then. :)

*is going through some of the backlog of LJ flist*

Get yourself tested for iron deficiency. On the few times I've noticed myself being tired and feeling no less tired after sleep it has ALWAYS been iron deficiency. Stress can deplete your body's stores of stuff. It's worth checking out I think. Hopefully you're feeling better though and this comment is now redundant!
