I finally saw the trailer for 300, thanks to ![[info]](http://stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) otiarstill. Now I can definitely say I'm looking forward to it. It appears they've taken... *ahem*... liberties with historical accuracy, but I can't say I'm complaining that much (read: hawt guys wearing not a lot, yum). Should be fun, regardless.
In other news, no NAAMA for Erin (too poor and too tired, mostly too tired), so I'm going to go to Armageddon instead. Not sure what day. Should be fun. :) I shall definitely be going over to Freeman's Bay for the Wargaming, though I'm not going to be playing, unless they take registrations on the day. I'm tempted to take my army, just in case. Oh, and I'm going in my IK costume, so you lot should prob'ly be able to pick me out of the crowd. :P

No problem:) I was posting the link in my journal so I could save the movie to my harddrive, since its as laggy as anything otherwise.
I must have watched it 20 times so far. Several liberties, but hey, I'm looking forwards to an action flick with at least a basis in hostory, and cool special effects. I need little more for good time:)
I'm a bit concerned about the tourney actually, I havent had a confirmation of registration email, nor has the cheque I posted on friday been cashed. It does look like an awesome film, does it not? Lots of shouting and hard bastards.
As for historical liberties...I don't think Leonidas told the Persians to "come get some," but it's a nice thought. |
