don't panic, maybe it was just all the smoke from our cigarettes that made me so claustrophobic.
maybe it was the feel of everyone on everyones laps that made it so hard to breathe.
with my face so close to yours, it made everything else so fake.
i had so many burns on my hands from your cigarettes, i couldn't count.
blasting senses fail and screaming along, we felt young again. we felt like kids at the playground.
all the hair in our face made it hard to see the road ahead.
our band t-shirts and worn out shoes made us the coolest kids on the interstate.
i wish we had driven all the way to california. here's to all the gas and cigarette money.
