Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab AKA BPAL now has a Beauty and the Beast Themed Scent, two actually. In fact they have a while slew of new fairy tale themed scents but the top two are the ones of interest here!

I'm trying to get a hold of an "imp" of the two scents. thats what they call their sample vials. I love rose scented perfumes!

This month marks the 80th anniversary of RKO studios! :)

Does anyone have any Old Hollywood inspired tattoos? Please post photos of them, I would love to see them!!!

На суд поклонников предлагается список из 122 треков. Окончательное количество треков будет зависеть от общего хронометража. I've been searching EVERYWHERE for my favorite 80's special, Disney's Halloween Treat. I have no idea why I didn't check youtube first. I was thrilled to find it!

Jimmy as we love him: wearing one of his hats and looking whimsical. I date this roughly to the late 1940s.

I really, really like the jewelled versions of the princesses that the Chinese Disney site had earlier this year. So, I decided to make a wallpaper of my own with all six princesses on it (since they didn't have one).

Hey everyone! I'm new here. I'm a huge Beauty and the Beast fan. I collect anything Beauty and the Beast. Well, I try to, anyway. Some of the stuff is expensive! I try to limit myself to just buying things when I'm actually at the Disney Parks, but that doesn't always work. The Art of Disney Store kills me every time! I have four snow globes, and I just recently bought this: http://www.countrynmoregifts.com/Belle+%27Moonlit+Enchantment%27-15306.cnm at Tokyo Disney Land.

I have a lot of Belle items, but not too many of the Beast (I know he isn't a Princess, but I love him as well!). I am trying to fix this, but they are hard to find.

I didn't see anyone posting about this, so, for an FYI:

Nicktoons Network is going to be doing an "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" marathon beginning next week, on Monday at 8:00pm EST. They'll be featuring different episodes each night, two per night.

So, for those of you who listed the show in your favourites, get ready to see it again! :)

I spent so many years drawing pictures from this book :3.
For some reason my memories of this book and Nightmare Before Christmas, that came out on video for the first time when I was 12, are forever together :)...

Filmed in truly glorious Technicolor, this is probably the lightest of the Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn movies I’ve seen so far. ( I only have a couple of the ones they made together still to go.) This time there’s no real sense of conflict – although obviously the romantic comedy plot brings up its share of misunderstandings – but more of friendship and shared humour, and sheer enjoyment of each other’s little eccentricities.

 The plot seems extremely forward-looking for 1957, with Hepburn playing the woman in charge of a broadcasting station’s reference library, who fears she will be put out of work by a computer , invented by absent-minded boffin Tracy. Fifty years on, computers have, sadly, indeed put paid to such departments in some newspaper offices – I don’t know about broadcasters, but suspect it may be the same story there too. Anyway, the computer in this movie, EMERAC, nicknamed Emmie, is a magnificent sight, huge and taking up a whole room, with lights flashing and a selection of loud noises. My teenage son was most impressed to see it, and pointed out that it would have had a lot less power than a modern calculator!

Hepburn and Tracy are perfect comic foils for one another in this movie. Among the supporting cast, it’s fun to see Joan Blondell in good form as one of Hepburn’s colleagues, while Gig Young is suitably infuriating as Hepburn’s on-off lover Mike, an unthinking male chauvinist who has taken her for granted for years until some competition turns up.
