Things are good. I miss vacation. For one week I went to Orlando, Fl. and visited all four parks if not more: Animal Kingdom, MGM/Hollywood Studious, Universal, & Magic Kingdom. However, on the second day being on my feet for 12 hours straight I decided enough was enough and rented one of those motorized scooters. It definitley helped the problem. It came to $70 prepaid then upon return you get $20 refunded. So technically it was only $50.
First airplane trip ever as well. It definitley freaked me out a little taking off and the turbulence in the air, but once we were up in the air it was the most magnificent thing I have ever seen in my entire life. Nothing that I can compare it to or associate it with. The first plane we took was extremely small; two seats then an isle separation and another two seats. However, on the next flight and the one coming back the plane had three separated by the isle. I had come to understand that it was because Avoca is a small as hell airport and the planes that fly in and our of there are that size.
Upon arrival in Flordia, I took my jacket off and the weather was so beautiful. Nearly 70 degrees perhaps. Anyway, after about two or three days the weather became colder, I think because of a cold front that went across the nation. Me, like an idiot packed for 80 degree weather for the whole trip with nothing but shorts and tank tops and flip flops, but only one pair of jeans and sneaks. I think on our fourth or fifth day I was wearing the jeans and my jacket, because it was too cold for a hoodie, as well as gloves and a hat. Regardless, it was still warmer there than it was in PA.
The road was a lot better too, probably from lack of salt. All the cars looked like they were just washed, most trees and bushes were green, and there were even flowers out even in winter. Some parts of lawns and large areas were of hay color but the golf courses were all rich with green grass.
Our flight back got postponed due to maintenence and luckily was able to flex my shift so that I was able to get some sleep before work the next day. I thank God that it wasn't delayed until the next day. Then I would have had to call of work, but luckily that hadn't happend. I still had vacation days/time to use but that particular day was all taken throughout our sites in the nation.
In Epcot I bought some things in Japan to remind me of the trip there of course it was my Sanrio stuff. A domo antenna topper, Keroppi post its, two pens that help save wildlive, cellphone charms, and I almost bought a hellokitty bag. I decided not to because the huge hello kitty tag thing could not be taken off or adjusted which I would have liked to also put on other bags. I bought more stuff too like a I love Lucy tee at the Lucy tribute in Universal, Disney pins, and a few other things.
