| | <3 | ] | Sadly, I couldn't find a ride to the East Bay for the Pinhead Gunpowder show. Don't feel too bad for me though, I mean, I've seen 'em before. I'm glad those of you who went had a good time and got to talk to the boys :)
I've had hearts for eyes since about 6:00 today. Panic's new video came out and it is perfect and lovely and happy and gorgeous and weird and silly and everything I love about this band. Actually, everything I love about life in general: fake mustaches, pajamas, red bedrooms, vacuums (no, really, I love vacuums, it's kinda sick. My roommate did a photo project on her friends doing something they love and she took a photo of me vacuuming. My boss teases me about marrying the first man to buy me a Dyson). I am still in disbelief that Panic At The Disco decided to have Brendon crawl around the floor in his pajamas, slutting it up with a red vacuum. That's the thing about this band--they fucking listen to us and do what we say. It's actually really creepy. Marisa got to see that part of the video before I did because I was at work when the Sneak Peek came out. She called me and told me to make sure I was somewhere that it would be okay if I freaked out because "Brendon is vacuuming in the new video". Unbelievable. And I'm totally insane, I know.
Then there's this, which is just. God. Please be boyfriends. You are so beautiful together. Look at Brendon's coy little head tilt. They are seconds away from Ryan reaching his hand up to touch Brendon's jaw and pull him in for a kiss. <3 <3
In other news, I'm excited cuz I'll be seeing Cobra Starship on Wednesday! That'll keep my mind off of stupid Valentine's Day at least. I'll probably go see Jumper on Friday cuz dudes, Hayden Christensen's been doing some growing up ;)

Chester and I watched videos on youtube tonight! Unfortunately he was more interested in the Backyard Birdfeeders - Cardinal Visits video than the BrendonUrieIsTheMostPreciousThingEver one. So we took turns.
I'm so happy I got my VIP ticket for the Warfield show!!! I'm going by myself (by choice!), but it shall be the best birthday ever!! And then TWO shows in Boston in May with Marisa!
I've never seen such a ticket feeding-frenzy -- I know it happens a lot, but usually when I'm booking a ticket for the Warfield, it's for an indie band, not a VMA winner (note: I was given my ticket when I saw Green Day at the Warfield!). So yea, wow, sold out in like, possibly 10 seconds. Meanwhile, across the country, Marisa was doing a stellar job of quickly snatching up 2 tickets to the Connecticut show for us. We rejoiced and patted ourselves on our backs for having such quick trigger fingers, then held our breath for a few hours while we waited to buy Boston tickets. The LJ Panic community was panicking (AHAHA LOLZ...no?) because no one was getting tickets! Tragically, we didn't have any luck when Boston pre-sale started. We immediately got on the phone, felt sad, defeated, "how could that happen? I was so fast!". As we're talking, trying to figure out what our next move would be, I continued to refresh the Boston tickets screen out of habit...suddenly, Buy Tickets reappeared. "Marisa, OH MY GOD HURRY GO, TICKETS" "What?? Shit, where's my credit card?!? Here, put in my number!" Our team effort landed us 2 tickets for Boston.
Only crazy people like all of you understand how emotionally taxing it can be when you're a nutso fan, so you understand why I'm actually kind of exhausted right now. So I'm going to bed. I leave you with this: he's gonna get youuuuuu.
jzbell, I hope you were able to get tickets to your shows!! I sent good thoughts your way! And if you weren't? There's always regular sale, and there's ALWAYS this: how is he real?

p.s. If it turns out to be true, that you did in fact write a song called "She's a Handsome Woman", I will run through Union Square naked. On my birthday so you'll be here. |

I'm not with family and I'm waiting for my roomie to come home so I've been dancing to bad pop music for 3 hours. "What bad pop?", you ask? How about the new Ashlee Simpson on repeat? Yea, I said it. ON REPEAT.

I hope you all have an awesome weekend, be it turkey-filled or not. At least get drunk. That's what I'm gonna do, dammit. Starting............

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LACKEY! Have a great day, drink some Pinapple Sunkist or whatever that crazy soda is that you like, and enjoy lots of Eddie Izzard, Green Day, and Heroes :D
I couldn't find that soda, so here's my favorite Eddie Izzard moment. I think of this every time I spot Alcatraz!

| THIS IS MARISA, TAKING OVER YOUR RADIO DIAL |
[Aug. 27th, 2007|03:50 pm] |
Or, your LJ dial. Whatevs.
YES. I AM HERE. IN SAN FRANCISCO. I am posting from Audrey's account because I am too lazy to log in as me. Also, because I am TAKING OVER THE WORLD. Or the Bay. Or Audrey's room. Something like that.
Actually, this post is apologetic in nature because I had half of a fab post ready for you last night to talk about my high school reunion, as well as to say "bye" because I was leaving for my epic West Coast Swing of Panic and Audrey and Vacation and Fun Times. But sadly, the flesh-eating virus also known as Spyware that has attacked my computer in recent days, along with a fatal blown fuse (hair dryers + air conditioners = bad times in Marisa's apartment) shut everything down and made me lose everything. Plus, it was about 10:30 p.m. by that time, and I had to get at 4:30 a.m. to catch this flight. So here I am, saying that I'm with Audrey now, and for every non-post from me you'll get in the next 10 days, there will be a crazy, probably drunk (like right now, sort of) JOINT post in its place. It's a two-for-one deal. You know you love it.
So be good, children. Play nice, and we will keep you updated. Fun things are about to go down, hopefully some of which involve Brendon Urie's mouth and Ryan Ross's fingers. (SYLV. WE NEED TO TALK. PRONTO.) If we're lucky. Or totally batshit crazy. Whichever comes first.
Later skaters. |
