Aqillutaq is actually Michael Allenby (but SHHHH 'CAUSE NOBODY KNOWS THAT KTHX), lately of Boston, even more lately of Yellowknife, and later yet still of the area around Inuvik, Northwest Territories. He has been a werefox for a year.

He was kicked out by his foster parents when he turned 18, and to celebrate his newfound freedom he and several of his friends decided to go on a road trip. None of them had any particular destination in mind, so using a complex random choice method involving a globe, three sticks of gum, a piece of shoelace, and a box of goldfish crackers, they ended up heading north and west.

Losing several members along the way for various reasons, the remaining four people in the group ran out of money in Yellowknife. They scattered their own ways, looking for jobs or begging for money to get home, while Michael Aquillutaq sold his car and lived off that money for a few weeks. Finding jobs scarce, he took to mugging anybody that looked weak enough for him to have the slightest change in hell of actually succeeding, and well-off enough to make the effort worth it.

One night, the apparently-weak-and-yet-surprisingly-not 'victim' fought back. And so did her large and capable dog which went previously unnoticed due to it's unusual sneaky nature. Aquillutaq will forever hold firm to the belief that that 'dog' was a supernatural being, or of course it couldn't possibly have gotten the better of him.

TO make a long story...well, still long but not quite as long as it would be otherwise, THE DOG WAS A WEREWOLF!

Didn't see that one comin', didja?

And so, discovering upon his first 'change' or whatever you want to call it that he was a fluffy white fox-creature, he did some research. Soon, he had embraced his new nature, and travelled North to 'find himself.' He spent some time with an Inuit tribe, who quite frankly found him incredibly amusing, and took a new name. Aqillutaq! He thought (and rightly so!) that it embodied his true self, being that Inuit word which means 'New Snow.'


And that's all she wrote. Or he wrote. Or whatever.
