no subject [09 Oct 2008|12:39am] my_gothic_blood Its been awhile since I've actually wrote a journal entry, so I guess I'll write one now. I've been watching movies, and working on Lauren's ebay stuff. I've seen Rest Stop, and it reminds me so much of the movie wrong turn, or Vaccancy. I think Vaccancy the most because it involves these 2 stupid young people a couple who run away from home and travel out to California to make it rich, on the way the girl (how original) has to go to the restroom and won't piss in the dirt so they stop at this rest stop and she goes in she comes out boyfriend is nowhere to be found. I will say they didn't skip any gory details once the freak was on a roll. He took the boyfriend and cut his toungue out, sowed his mouth shut with WIRE. cut things off. Then terrorizes the girl, bites a finger off. I mean the only remote thing I liked about it was the ghosts of the missing that kept showing up or the torture scenes. Other than that I don't think it was at all worth it. When you try to make a movie using a vertually non existing plot the only thing good to come out of it are the torture scenes. The drill in the legs eh too common. Hollywood is running out of ideas. The only good one to come out was Captivity. The worst thing about Rest Stop is, is that they made another one called rest stop 2 don't look back...its like, yea I'll think about watching it. Right now I'm about to watch The Happening, after this one I'm currently watching. I'd get started on my life but honestly, I prefer to talk about movies more. My life is...boring but uneventful. slide
