Courtney and I watched the first two and gaffawed ourselves silly. Even now, we are still randomly quoting lines at each other at inopportune moments. And then we watched the whole thing and we were like, "...WOAH." We're still talking about it. (Don't miss the "Read the Master Plan" button on the bottom of the page)

In other news - as could be absolutely predicted, I am media's ideal audience: I am ridiculously in love with Dr. Horrible, who isn't even REMOTELY my type. Have no fear - this affection does not in any way take away my desire for Light, nor my caretaking-impulses for L, nor my lust for... well, you get the point. I'm nothing if not loyal to all of my boys.

OH MY GOSH YOU ARE SO ADORABLE. And your purse last night was Teh Winz!!!

You can itunes this show for something like $4, and it's worth it. Though I have a feeling that we, the Joss fans that we all are in our little group, will have a Dr. Horrible party after the DVD is let out.

As soon as I heard the first song I said to my sis, "MAN, this sounds like the Buffy "Once More, With Feeling" episode!" More true than I knew! I wonder how people felt about being asked to be in this or help out - were they, like, "Oh man YES I'd love to not get paid to help you do this crazy thing!" or were they all jaded hollywood nuh-uh no way, you know?

I hope I never get big enough to miss out on any crazy 'little' thing like this. Ever.

It's about 80% certain that my crew and I will be doing a musical comedy for this years 24 Hour Boulder Film Contest in October. We had talked about doing it before but Dr. Horrible has inspired the team to go through with it.

My friends and I have decided that when this is released on DVD there has to be a Dr. Horrible theamed party and a viewing. I will let you know when it is set up since I suspect you will want to be there.

I'm also going to have one after school stuff settles down in September, a costumed Henchman Party - come as a likely alter-ego third-rate henchman. Can't use a 'real' costume, can't take over 4 hours to make, can't be more than $20. I think I'll have silly relays and prizes from the dollar store, maybe. :)

I did I super hero comedy a few years (2006) back for the Shootout...

Then use the drop down menu on the Search Library options and click on the Search by movie title. Then type in Supers and that should bring it up as a thumb nail on the right. Click that and you are good to go.
It is full of second rate, made up heros and villians.
