Had it up to here.. well past the ying yang.
You are about at the end of your tether little one. You have no right to tell me how I should feel about the creature from the blue lagoon who stole our Fred. You have never known her warmth. And to see it perverted into something that is nothing? It destroys you. When that song fell from her lips and seeing what was coming? Nothing is worth that.

Therefore I offer you this tiny piece of advice.

Unless you have walked a day in my life, and with my choices..you can not criticize the way I feel.

Oh my god. I cannot.. that is just... so many shades of completely dead wrong.

Illyria, no matter how much she may look like Fred, is a freaking demon from a hell dimension! C'mon now, people. SHE IS BAD!! Intrinsically bad. She is built that way. No matter how much she is sapped of her powers, strength and resources she is still more evil than most of us will ever be.

Wesley is not, and has not been, a watcher for a very long time. Anyway he is no condition to deal with this thing called Illyria. He never even got a chance to get over Fred being gone and now she is replaced by the thing that looks like her (sorta) and constantly seems to deride him with her ability to tease him.

Everything Illyria does to impersonate Fred flies in the face of all of the people who loved, respected and honor her now that she is gone.

It’s like Angel said the other day, “I used to maim people for insolence like that.”

Sorry for taking up so much space, Lorne. This was directed at the anonymous jerk who laid into you, not you personally because I know you know we have nothing but love for you. :)

Go post a comment in Wesley's journal and if you're not an hypocrite, say it to his face. No one is allow to interfere with people's choice. And he chose to do what he has to do. I'm done with this journal and believe me when I say that all of you are gonna be surprised when she'll change in his guidance. Fare well for good and you are all unfair.

Um.. what? "Hypocrite", you say? Every last bit of every thing I said about Wes I would gladly tell him. I don't think anything I said was in the slightest bit demeaning. To be honest, I don't think it is anything he doesn't know already, actually.

Wes does make his own choices and clearly he knows Illyria is dangerous. Although he chooses to torture himself by hanging around with her. That's all. He knows she's bad but he wants to "save her" because of a lot of complex reasons I won't go into... and you know for someone who is done with this journal, you do pay an awful lot of attention to what people have said so far.

Go pull your head outa the sand, kitten. Then maybe you will understand what it truly is that these great people are actually trying to do and in the grand scheme of things, argueing about whether Illyria is bad is about as pointless as the whole Immortal thing that Spike and Angel just got back from.

Amen, to all of it. At least you responded better than I did. I actually DID go to Wes' journal a while back...he didn't need that, wish I hadn't done it. Glad to see someone tell that poster what for. Still think its funny that an anonymous poster calls a poster with a name a hypocrite. I think the poster doth project...if the anon were not a troll, they would get name, THEN say all this.

Get a name, if you dare, anon....

I just don't think he/she/it/they/whatever seems to understand what Wes is actually doing. I went back and re-read his journal and found that he is quite capable of handling Illyria for his own reasons. And he is concerned for her but honestly, it seems like there is an underlying confusion there about how much he wants to hate her but can't because she is/was part of what he loved about Fred.

I just didn't think anything I said about Wes would mean really anything to him, even if I chose to post it into his journal. So I didn't (although I would have if I felt it would have any benefit for him). I just don't think he would care to get dragged into all this mess.

This "Anonymous" is blantantly missing the point all together. It's not about them anymore.

I apologise again for taking up so much space. It didn't know this was going to go this far or that you would be caught up in the middle of it. Wes is a big boy and can care for himself. We all know that we have bigger things to worry about now.
