Yeah, so...I know Sinister Attraction is down.

And um...I don't know if it's worth it to get it back online TBH. There are still viruses, there are other issues, and I don't know how to fix it.

So, after working out some details, charly2004 and I are going to The Hub! AND we're going the Thursday before the con to see David Tennant in Love's Labors Lost (which is a Shakespeare play I know absolutely nothing about...other than that it was used in a S3 DW episode). O.M.F.G! Torchwood actors - JOHN! - AND David Tennant on stage?!

It's going to be THE MOST incredible weekend of 2008!

OK, so a week after the con, I'm sitting down to write up Sunday and Monday in Orlando...better late than never, right? :P I'm sure everyone has read what happened, so I'm mostly doing this for my own sake to have it in my LJ for remembrance.

My big damn EyeCon report!

OK, so there is a lot that I want to write up and recap for you all. Some things I've already posted, but I just want to go into more depth.

You know the drill...please do not take and use any of these images as your own. Same goes with video...it's mine, and I would rather have people link to my LJ. Just don't claim anything as yours please.

Oh, and let me say this as well. Me talking about a con in Sept and a cruise in 2009 is just unconfirmed stuff from what Kenny, Larry, and I talked about. Larry thinks that a 2009 cruise is a go, but even if it is, I'm sure that Kenny is going to focus on Sept for now and them the cruise con after that. Kenny told me that he's looking to get Jensen at the Sept con...that his whole goal was to get Jared now and Jensen next to keep the price down for us and to keep it more relaxed - which is TOTALLY was. What we experienced this weekend would NEVER happen at a CreationCon. Jim, Sam, Chad, and Gabe were just wandering around the floor, you'd turn around and there they are! So just keep going to their website for more official info, not unofficial info from a fellow fangirl! ;)

I already told my mom to prepare for Sept and the SPN Cruise in 2009 (Speaking of which, there is a Cruise to Mars, a cruise for Veronica Mars that looks pretty sweet!)

OK, so I renamed my YouTube vids so you can easily watch them in order! I have 1 more from Jared (that will take a bit longer b/c I have to split the file) and then I'll start some other things...

And I'm getting ready to get back to studying, but I took a break to scan in my photo ops! I'm still waiting on one more from Froggy, my photo with me and Shannen and Sandy.

Back home in Richmond, where it's cold, overcast, and I have a class in 2 hours.

I hope everyone got home safely! I miss everyone SO MUCH already!

I have MAJOR studying over the next 24 hours, but expect my in depth con report within a couple of days.

So....EyeCon was pretty much the most amazing thing EVER!

Last night I was hanging out with my girls, shannenb, baileytc, abydosww, augustfading, jenniebellie, ames1010, and phouka_h, and we got to talk with Jim Beaver, who just came down to hang out for a while! He's a truly incredible guy, very awed and giddy over this whole thing called "convention" ;)

But yeah, I asked him about Asylum, and he said he's just waiting for stuff to be finalized...so I think that it's gonna work. He actually prefers May since he doesn't know if he will be filming in October and wants to stay another 2 weeks for vacation.

I got to stand and listen to Sam Ferris for a bit (who has probably completely lost her voice by now!) and Chad was walking around for a bit as well.

It was just VERY cool that the actors would just wander around and you can easily approach them, say hi, and get a conversation started. They aren't "OMG OMG ACTORZ!" here, they're just people having as just as good a time as you are, and that's very cool. VERY well done.

So yes. Praise and thanks go out to the EyeCon organizers, especially Kenny, who is adorable and great, and probably a lot less stressed now! (More later on how meeting Kenny, Voni, and Larry the soundbox guy was just incredibly funny to me!) He really cares about letting you have your time with the actors and not being herded like cattle. I do know that the autograph line for Jared started getting rushed, but y'know... we all knew that was going to be the challenge of the day, getting autos done before his plane left (which apparently was REALLY delayed due to the weather and he sat on the plane for a few hours)

Jared signed my poster "kiss my butt" and I LOVE my photo with him! I can't wait to scan it in! :P AND! I got him to sign the Banner of Doom from CreationCon.

baileytc and I are going to Universal today and then a bunch of us are going to Steve's concert tonight!

SO SO MUCH to write up about when I get back home...things I want to go into more detail on, so expect that Wednesday/Thursday!

Got my photo with Jared! I requested a hug and got one! Jared's great!

His panel was hilarious!

He did the Bad Day "lost my shoe" face, he got presents, he talked about working with Peter O'Toole (who was his fanboy moment), he would like to do Lawrence of Arabia as a remake with Johnny Depp as his costar, Friday the 13 is going to be "retelling" not a remake...Jared called it a "mid-quel" rather than a "sequel". He likes the episodes where he and Dean get to fight each other, especially "Skin." He calls Jensen "ugly" HAHA b/c everyone else calls him pretty. A lot of people call him "stretch." His prank on Jensen is sewing his pants legs together and then he hears Jensen yell "JARED! DAMMIT!" from his trailer! But they work together mostly on pranks, especially vs. Kim.

Jensen gave him a Tony Romo jersey for Christmas...a kid asked him about his favorite player on Dallas team. He spoke about his dogs and supports animal rescue charities. He spoke that SPN has a great community and camaraderie (which is also what he missed most about the show while the strike was going on) and the fans are so supportive.

And some girl asked him about fanfiction and Wincest...um. NO. OK, so let me say it right here. He says that he is "supportive" of the creativity of the fans and how we are a community who creates things outside the show (comparing it to Grey's Anatomy, that is a fandom whose fans aren't as passionate about creativity past just watching the show) NOT THAT HE IS SUPPORTIVE OF WINCEST. Because I can see this getting convoluted within the hour.

If he had a day with no consequences, he would eat steak all day. And he thinks that Sam's special powers are dormant in his "belly" haha and thinks that it will come out again one day.

And Sandy was so cute! She came over and sat down leaning against the wall where we were sitting!

HAHA Jared blames Jensen ("since he's not here") for any mess ups in "Mystery Spot" in the diner scene where they're talking together with the whole "Sam Winchester wears makeup" saying that Jensen would leave out a word, and then the next take Jared would leave out the same word, but then Jensen would put it back in. But they went over it a LOT so Jared could get down how Jensen would phrase everything.
