I am exhausted.
I entertained my folks and my aunt and uncle who are up here from Indiana. Made them dinner and dessert. Chatted. They left later. Gave the kid a bath, put her to bed. Watched DBZ. I *heart* Trunks ever so much.
And then fixed my internet.
OMG! I'm back! I missed you all SO much.
I also have cable TV. All for $44.50 a month.
I love you all so much. I will get to those email and LJ comments even though they are from way a long time ago.
Now I go to bed.

Hey, everybody, this is Ryan, Fred's roommate.
Fred was in a forklift accident earlier today, and is going to be off of his feet for a little while. He is requesting that I update his livejournal to let everyone know he's okay, and he'll probably try to get on Stickam later on tonight (around 11 or 12, CST), more than likely to explain everything himself, since I hate all this LJ crap.
Anyhow, he's groaning for me to go get him some Nehi or some shit, so everyone have a lovely afternoon.

Housesitting - Day 1:
Mateo and Leanne have gone to a wedding.
So I get to housesit and take care of their cats.
Yesterday was Day 1.
I came here after work,
bought groceries from Safeway,
and Rob met up with me, so he could help drive them a block away.
We drank some wine,
talked, and then went to see Wall-e.
Good movie, but over-rated.
Wok yesterday was heeelllll.
Stressful deadline.
A Video project.
And the final version has teeny tiny glitches,
which make me want to gouge out my eyes
and feed them to the cats
everytime I see them.
At least today I get to start a new project....

You know Double Feature, that podcast I keep saying will go up one day? Well, it's got a launch date! After months and months of work, we've got everything prepared to go online. The podcast, website, and all the rest goes online July 25th, 2008.
Here's the official description . . .
Double Feature is podcast detailing two films per episode. Riddled with blasphemy and a humble (but vicious) sense of humor, the podcast is an experiment in film watching. Each show both hosts pick a movie they’ve seen a hundred times that the other’s never watched, and then view both movies back to back. Uninterested in actually reviewing the films, they discuss what makes them notable against an abundance of others. Hosted by Eric Ingrum and Michael Koester.
Nine more days and you can listen to me embarrass myself on a weekly basis.
OH, I almost forgot. I don't think anyone actually uses livejournal anymore . . . but you can totally get an RSS feed of the project blog (this thing you're reading right now) instead. Here's the URL:

I just got home to a note, scrawled with the words:

I have been at work since 6:45am and then I went straight to a haircut appointment. I am such an awful daughter that my very existance, even on the other side of town, causes explosive outrage from my mother, apparently.
What the fuck she could possibly have ANY right to be pissed off at me for, I have no idea. I am tempted to go tell her to get out right now, as she never had any concern for where I would go when Dean would throw me on the streets and I fucking paid rent to live in a house my childhood paid for.
Yesterday, when I asked a lady at work for advice, she told me to put my mother in a homeless shelter since she has nowhere else to go. I laughed and said that was awful. She turned to me and said, "I'm serious - it'll straighten her out REAL quick." I'm fucking tempted.
Seriously, what the fuck I did in another life to earn this karma, I have no idea but I am so goddamned sorry, you have no idea.

why i hate being a photographer #48--sometimes, the crowd are full of absolute wankers. i upload these photos and cringe in hatred, but also in delight. saturday nights wheres the party's at. nevermind waiting in the freezing cold for 50 minutes at cockburn centeral, getting hit on by drunken 40 year olds. nevermind the bus taking 15 minutes to start up again and actually get to lisa's house. justin is cool, everyone. just so you know. sorry for crashing lisas mac when the songs hadn't finished uploading. getting out street maps. fangirling over a californian ID. "shut up, you c-word!" watching people make TEA on the stove coughcough. having 5 people called alex, which meant i was too. meeting cool people of 'an independant genre'. watching sarah cut lemons. laughing at sarah cutting lemons. riding in vans with boys almost dying in vans. cool dinosaur curtains. blue vodka from france?? fear and loathing in las vegas.
i'm shooting for escape the fate on sunday and i do not want to. but whatever. i fixed my sidekick with a blue cover and a new screen, it looks brand new now. i love you baby. im so excited for the glass passenger. i'm listening to their new song drop out right now, and its just andrew bein' andrew.
sorry i haven't updated you so long, livejournal. i know one day i'll look back at these and thank god i wrote all of these. i haven't even kept a real diary as long as i've kept my livejournal. soon this wonderful laptop will be mine and i'll be writing even more in my spare time.
things to do... i need to take lisa and sal to a photobooth to replace the photo in my wallet. i need to get film for my camera. i need to stop laughing at trace cyrus' face, who is honestly the biggest tool in music. oh. i'm planning to go to california june/july next year. i'm not lying.
