i'm jealous of my best friend. because everyone loves her.

most of my friends are cynical and sarcastic
i want to be wanted, i want to be known.
i wish i was better than i am.
i wish i was smarter than that.
i depend on people who don't notice me.
i'm resplendid,
and i make up words when i don't know the right ones.
i'm tired of vying for attention,
i'm tired of being a slaughter of invention.
i rhyme when i know it sounds lame because its how things sound right in my head and if you don't believe it, then i know you're not me.
