Damion Jonathan Hernandez was born at 10:44 A.M. on July 31st.

7 lb. 3 oz. and 19 inches

Got to the hospital at 8:30 the night before; Jonathan, my dad, his mom, Crystal, Jeremy, Monica, and my grandpa and Carolyn were there at some point while i was in labor. Jonathan was there with me the whole way through of course. My dad showed around midnight. Crystal and Jeremy, though seperate, showed soon after. Dorothy came around 3 or 4. My grandpa and Carolyn showed up and left a bit before he came. Monica showed up and left in eight minutes. Almost immediately after getting my epidural my blood pressure dropped to 40 something over 26 and it took 10 or 15 minutes to get it back to normal range but Damion was okay through the whole thing. around 4 or 5 my labor stalled and they started pitocin. Monica got there at 10:38, said that she couldn't really stay long and that she would try to swing by after work. Started talking to Jonathan and i felt baby pushing said something to the nurse, she went to check my dilation and barely pulled the sheet up and told me that he was right there. She got the midwife and they told me to start pushing while they were still setting up. I started pushing when the midwife got in front of me. Monica left after he got cleaned up and everything. Her, Jonathan, Crystal and Dorothy watched me push him out. I lost some blood and according to the nurse i'm "super anemic".

So worth it though
